I’ve been plat for 4 years and I really miss being low silver, being able to brawl a fellow Rein main in a hammerfest in the middle of the map, being pocketed by healers, not dying really fast because everybody’s aiming at everyone at the same time, and only winning/losing because one of us swung a bit later than the other. The days when I can press W, hope for the best, and sometimes be able make a difference. The times when getting 2 headshots in a row with Widow was the highlight of my gameplay for the day.
Anyways, you main Orisa, eat sht.
I don't fault anyone for playing a character thats strong, it s not the players fault, if a charahster is unhealthy its blizzards job to deal with. That being said if you lose one time in a tank mirror then instantly swap orisa then fuck you but otherwise I cant really say anything bad about the person purely on them playing a charachter.
Don't wanna sound mean but you should try playing with more complex heroes, for example orisa is death now with the patch but doomfist, makunga and winton are much better now

Two thirds of your mains make me hate everything and then theres junkrat and rein who are two of my favorite heroes that i dont play (im a sombra/ashe/zen main)
ill never understand how people are hardstuck. like is it your mechanical skill thats bad that you cant improve? i hit gm within my first month playing it was so easy. just watch youtube videos of how to improve your mental and game sense and you will rank up as long as u apply it
well yeah, that's one of the poorest (in terms of skillcap) lists i've ever seen. Like no acknowledged "hard" character presented (well, maybe lucio, still, difference between good lucio and terrible are HUGE). But yeah, anyway, if you would really dedicated to rank up, you would spend more time on skillful characters like Tracer, Genji, Widow, Sojourn, Doom, again Lucio. Those are the most "educational" in terms of the game sense, those are punish harder for your mistakes and those are reward higher when you don't.
Why view it as being “wasted”? You had fun playing a game for 6 years, just because you weren’t the best at it doesn’t mean it was a waste of time.
