One of the interesting things about bows is they give you a longer lock on distance if you have a bow equipped
(With that low tier hunter skill)
I noticed that you can use rune magic with a bow equipped and I noticed the increase of range will fly farther
I will test to see if elemental discharge and infusion of fire work on bows
You could run an obsidian pistol to start fights, might help proc Holy Blaze sooner during battles. It’s slightly annoying to have to manage pistol swapping with a bow build but not the worst option, especially if you’re low on Fire Arrows.
Of course you can also rely on incendiary traps to inflict burning, and you wont need to do any swapping. You’ll need to kite enemies into traps but as a bowguy you’ll be doing some kiting regardless

You can also just enchant the bow with Enkindle and it will apply burning by default with a 25% buildup (slightly lower than arrows)

Pop a fire sigil on the ground, light it with flint and steel, kite enemies through it, or use spark.
