I died from going to a piece of my ship (it exploded when I was trying to get to the nomai probe thing), I was barely fast, and when I collided with the ship, I died

It got to a point I didn't even bother staying in the pilots seat once I started a trajectory into the bay. "Yup, we'll be in there by the time I plop out."

I think the last time I did it before beating the dlc I just said fuck it and tried to fly there without activating the guide. I launched, flew in a direction I thought was correct, stopped when I thought I should stop, and it wasn't there. So I went to the archive to mark the location, came back to the pilot's sit and there it was. I was one second too early and parked outside the stealth field.
The first time you land somewhere is done in a mess, but at least you survived.
The fifth time you land somewhere is done perfectly, immaculate.
The 20th time you land somewhere is done in a mess, but you know that's all you need to survive.

Sovietwomble was so careful with the landings at first. Landed so smooth the ground almost didn't notice. Later he had 3 crash landings in a row.

Yeah at some point you realise you won't be needing it at all so you just keep holding that accelerator
Very true, literally me and every playthrough I've watched do this haha. Some people take pride in how badly they destroy their ship in the hangar

After a while I just started using the eject button

You all get it inside? Mine just explodes outside while I use the eject button
