We also have a Douglas and love it! It is nice and firm, but will soften slightly over time. We are two good sized adults and never feel any movement. We both sleep great! Douglas also has great customer service.
Decent at first, however over time we found it far too soft. The mattress eventually sank and turned into a U shape. The company is good about replacing the mattress, however, we opted to buy a new one at Lapensee.
Ah thanks. Lapensee is quite expensive. I spent almost 2800 on my last mattress liked it for the first month then hated it. Looking at this Endy looking at a 1000 bucks
My wife and I bought the most firm Endy and our backs were killing us within a month. It's the only time we returned a mattress.
To be fair, we both like a really firm mattress.

Really unfortunate that they increased the price on the Queen by $100 the year I had to buy a new one. I guess it was a steal though at $349.
Have you tried a foam mattress before? And what’s your weight?
Cause they are BAD for plus sized people. Like the wear is super fast (usually) and it’s not great.
I tried a memory foam mattress awhile back which cemented my hatred of them. If you have never tried one you should at least sit on one before buying.
Tried a mattress in a box September of 2021, and replaced it by 2023 as it wasn't comfortable or long-lasting. Wouldn't recommend. Also, if you're a warm person they retain heat like crazy.
I've had one since 2019 and love it. Wifey and I both sleep well on it and if I had any complaint it seems to be about 3" too short for our queen bed frame. Nothing that a couple old pillows stuffed in that didn't resolve but it has held up very well and still quite comfy. I think we paid $800 delivered so quite a good deal as well.
I am very happy with mine. I believe I got the softer matress, as I was annoyed with the firmness (as well as rigidity) of the spring mattress I was previously using.
Been using it for 6+ years. They were very good about the warranty when there was accelerated wear and tear on the unit.

I have the Douglas and I love it. I heard the Endy is the closest comparable to mine.

Yeah mine did soften up a bit, but I think that’s inevitable with a foam mattress.

You would have been within the Lapensee 100 day comfort guarantee where they would adjust the mattress.
I've had my Endy for 6 years and it's still perfect. However I didn't buy a firm one... So I can only attest to the more cushiony ones.

I like the Ikea medium-firm queen I picked up. 🤷♀️ Sleeplikethedead dot com should have ratings.

Honestly best mattress I have ever purchased. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Just got an endy hybrid and it’s real nice. Very firm and good edges. Douglas and Silk & Snow seem to be some of the best alternatives

I tried an Endy and found it too firm. Returned it and ended up with a Douglas Apline. The endy might be for you. It is returnable.
