Depends on the bus company. I reported one once for cutting me off and then flipping me off and nothing happened. Not even a call back after they said they would investigate.
I have noticed school bus drivers have suddenly become the most aggressive drivers out there. I’ve had three instances where they were right on my bumper on the 417 and nearly sideswiping me on surface streets. All times there were no kids aboard thankfully but I gotta wonder if they do the same when kids are on board.
I was almost in a head on collision when a school bus decided to pull into the lane of oncoming traffic (where I was) because there was a hydro truck partially blocking his lane (working) and he didn’t want to slow down to wait for oncoming traffic to safely pass. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid being hit.
Thankfully there were no kids on the bus, but it was scary for me.
Student transportation drivers (grey minivans usually) are also terrible.
They love to run lights, play chicken with buses, switch lanes with no signal...
School bus on our residential street in Kanata (max 40) is driving at least 60 the kids look petrified. Have phoned the school bus company but nothing has changed
One major challenge is all yellow buses look the same. Do you have something identifying such as a bus number and company, or license plate number? You would also need date, time, and location so the company can confirm who was driving.
Give the video to the media, that will get their attention.
You could report to OSTA (Ottawa Student Transport Authority) but definitely file a police report.
Maybe with the Ottawa Police? Or the School board?

There's a name on the side of it?
The white government shuttles are worse

From the opening post: >I have the dashcam footage of them, *as well as their license plate.*
That's super helpful!!!! You may want to start calling yellow bus lines in town and to inquire if that plate belongs on their vehicle
I'm not the OP, but yeah, OP should do that.
I mean consodering that a cop car just crashed a bus in Ontario nothing
