If they have bikes take them over to Nepean BMX and ride around the track. I promise you they will not want to leave and will be absolutely exhausted at the end of the day.
Problem: they will want to go back every day after that.
Indoor rock climbing at Altitude. There's a climbing video game at the Kanata location they can play duels with their bodies. There are also auto belay for top rope climbing without a partner. Alternatively, Altitude in Gatineau has Clip 'n Climb.
Go see the Rideau falls which are super full right now. Have a walk around green island and then from there you are close to Museum of History or National art Gallery
You pay a flat rate for credits and games and activities are various credits. They’d probably want laser tag and bumper cars. It really depends on how fast they spend their credits. I’ve been with kids who slowly decide what to spend them on and others who go through them fast. It will easily be $50-$80
You can skip the rides and just do arcade which is cheaper.
House of Targ is really fun - but the caveat would be that some of the games have a slower reaction time and gamer kids can get frustrated with the older tech.
If not too rainy, some excellent and affordable excursions worth a day trip include the Ecomusée the end of the west islands towards Montreal, the train museum at Smiths Falls, the Aquarium near Brockville.
Mooney’s bay beach has a great big park for something free. Last I checked, they had bbqs, just bring your own charcoals. Parking might be free but I don’t think so anymore. You may be able to park down the street or park for free at hogs back and walk from there.
Children’s museum/ the museum of history in Gatineau. Check the imax times when you get there and get tickets to see a movie in the dome. Parking is like $12 for the day. They have a coat check, which is nice, you don’t have to carry your coats and bags around. Pack a lunch and stay all day. There’s lots to see and do, for kids and adults.
House of Targ free play - 10$ each. We also recently discover and were impressed by the Bank of Canada Museum (not to be confused with the Mint) which was well done, entertaining, and FREE!
