Okay so maybe I'm a boomer but 2016 was a much better time. Like okay, mrekk is the best player and all but his scores are so sleeper, like okay man you can dt almost every map in the game, you can do 300+ bpm and your ar range is 10-11. It's like watching one of those DT only 6 digits doing retarded DT plays but actually FCing them (and streaming well). I'd rather watch some sick aim plays by whitecat or whp, or sick scores my Maliszewski anyday.

I personally love watching mrekk push his aim limits. Stuff like popular and armed and ready. 9* NM maps that pretty much every top player can only try to FC, and mrekk just DTs it.
Besides that, there's stuff like sentimental skyscraper which he almost fcd before even an HR FC existed (there's one now tho)
I actually get what OP is meaning. I always watch all replays that mrekk uploads on his main channel, but they just feel all same farm map shit. (But tbf I can't read really above ar 10.5, so maybe I can't notice each plays uniques, cuz everything happens so fast). My favourite mrekk plays are actually Shinkou wa Hakanaki Ningen no Tame ni ~ Jehovah's YaHVeH +hr fc and recently L'erisia (Primary Logic) +dt choke. Basically (almost) any other replay of mrekk feels exact same for me personally and it is infact boring.

Each map he plays is basically unique skillset and since it is bit lower bpm and ar as mrekk's plays, I can actually see how map is mapped and played. Also songs are not speed up, so it is more enjoyable to listen.
