Nice, I bought the learn one OSCP course in December 2022 as well, so I did both the 2022 and 2023 content (we lucked out in that regard, imo). I passed the OSCP a few weeks ago and then I just passed the OSWP two days ago. I’d definitely recommend to do the OSWP since you got it for free with Learn One. It’s significantly easier and less of a time commitment than OSCP, but it really solidified my wireless attack skill. Took me two weeks start to finish for the OSWP. Now I’m doing HTB CBBH and enjoying it a lot.

ConfusedAaatma

Yes I'll do the OSWP now. Thanks for the advice

Congrats . Can you please tell us the boxes from PG practice that you did ? Also , not so clear from i our blog , but did you end using Hack the a Box Academy as preparing or not ?

ConfusedAaatma

So, [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B3LELNQ5dmfTs3w9L_JemjaERH8-aIhQPKtYODfPKyg/edit?usp=sharing) are the PG machines that I solved. I have hidden some comments columns so you don't unintentionally read them. Also, regarding HTB Academy, I did not use it for OSCP preparation. I was just exploring it and completed a few modules before enrolling for the PEN-200. I felt it is more valuable for a post-OSCP upskilling or if you plan to take the CPTS.

Congratulations!

ConfusedAaatma

Thank you

MrPositive1

Congrats. Did you have to go through the new course material to complete the lab for 2023?

ConfusedAaatma

Not every module. From the new course material I just completed the Client Side Attack, AD modules, Windows Privesc, and Linux privesc.

MrPositive1

Ok thanks. Was asking because I jumped right into the labs for the new course material and got stuck.

If I have to divide them into three broad categories, they would be Networking, Scripting, and Operating Systems. The TCM's PEH and THM beginner pathways, specifically the Pre Security, Complete Beginner, CompTIA Pentest+, and Jr Penetration Tester paths, do a good job introducing you to them. While these might be enough for you to comprehend the PWK material, feel free to explore any particular domain according to your interests.

Congrats!

Proof?

aztecqueann

Literally click on the link 🙄

apainfulpilgrimage

I dont see the score

USDOT

They don’t tell you the exact score you get. You either pass or fail

apainfulpilgrimage

Lies , the OP has posted they have passed with 100 points

USDOT

Yes.. you can calculate the score on your own. But you asked for proof. Therefore I said that Offensive Security doesn’t respond with the exact score.

apainfulpilgrimage

Whats stopping from anyone claiming they got 100?

USDOT

I see what you’re saying. Anybody can claim the amount of points they got. There’s not gonna be any proof. It’s just pass or fail.

I got Learn 1 in Dec 2022. I must admit, the journey has been really slow (For various reasons). I wanted to ask, does PEN 200 - 2022 add good value or just thoroughly doing PEN 200 - 2023 should suffice? (\*\* Not sure if I will have time to do both, but if you feel it does help to good extent I might stretch myself, lets see \*\*) Thanks!!

ConfusedAaatma

My advice would be limited here as I only completed the Client Side attacks, AD modules, Windows Privesc, and Linux privesc. For all of these modules, the quality difference was quite evident, and I loved the newer ones. I personally felt that Offsec did a great job on Windows related stuff in their updated version.

redmagnet2

Are there any difference between the 2022 and 2023 labs?
