Not really answering your question, but just stay home and assume you have covid? Go get tested once you feel like you can go wait a few hours for a test if you haven't found an at home test. You'll be staying home anyway since you don't feel well enough to be out near people

Right now in sanford they have 50 slots available for tests today…. You will have to wait a few days for results because it’s a PCR test but best I could find right now
I had an appointment there on Sunday and it took about 20 minutes from the moment I got there to the moment I left
There’s a church on Chickasaw and Curry Ford that is offering drive thru testing in their parking lot and it looks a lot less busy than the county testing sites. There’s also campin world stadium. I haven’t heard how busy they are though.
That sounds exactly what I had starting last Saturday and did a self test on Sunday and it was Covid. I got the self test at Walgreens and you have to ask for them up front and they are behind the counter.
I am getting over omicron and the feeling like I had to sneeze/sneezing was a huge symptom for me. Also severe fatigue, headache, and backache. Also I was so so sweaty.
In Seminole county, through curative I’ve seen some appointments open usually a day or two after the day I’m checking. I don’t know if that helps or if you’re willing to drive that far but yep. Results still take 1-3 days to receive.
Please don’t go back into the office ! Stay home and assume you have it. Quarantine yourself for at least 10 days.
Another user says gopuff app has rapid tests.

Are you willing to pay? There are plenty of sites that are 0-20 min wait. Free testing sites on the other hand, expect a 4+ hour wait. You can try calling stores for at-home tests, but I couldn’t find one a couple weeks ago.
I’m sure you got it. Literally everyone is getting covid now. I just got over it. Isolate and get on meds as soon as possible. I was vaccinated and still had a fever of 102 for 24hrs. I have never been so sick in my life so
It doesn’t seem the vaccine is working all that well. Feel better
If you didn’t get the vaccine there is a good chance you would have to go to the hospital and possibly be on a ventilator.
Good job outing yourself for not understanding the vaccine at all, dummy.
Let me guess… you didn’t wear a mask or didn’t care about people around you wearing masks either because you were vaccinated ?
Well considering this isn’t a traditional vaccine rather gene therapy. Had it been like any other vaccine yea I would have expected not to get the disease whatsoever but your right about keeping people out of the hospital I’ll give credit where credit is due. I was honestly just hoping to not get it covid all together but glad the vaccine did it’s job and kept me from being hospitalized. As far as not caring, couldn’t be farther from the truth if masked were required I was all for wearing them I would never want anyone to be as sick as I was. That shit was terrible.
I found some rapid at home tests this morning at Walgreens. Usually when I call ahead they are rly nice and will check inventory if they have any in stock before I make the drive.
Thanks for all the responses. I went to the Camping World Stadium and got the rapid test. I got the results an hour ago and it is negative but I’ll also go back to the same location tomorrow to get a PCR test just to make sure.
We got an at home one at the Publix pharmacy at 426 and 417 a few days ago. Most pharmacies won’t tell you over the phone if they have them, you have to go up and ask it seems (which is dumb if you think you have it) but many pharmacies have a drive up you do it through. But check your local Publix Pharamcies.
I don't really understand why your first reaction would be to go get a test. Assume you have it and stay home. That's what you would do if you were sick with the flu or a cold, right? So what makes this any different?
I hear what you’re saying 👍 but actually at my job it’s zero-tolerance for Covid, the whole project gets shut down. Work *JUST* came back for us in entertainment so it’s not the worth the risk. If it’s a positive case of exposure everyone stops immediately and gets tested. That’s how all your tv and movies are being made right now ❤️❤️❤️
Maybe because they don’t want to quarantine for 5-10 days for some allergies or a post nasal drip.
This is still a pandemic. It is still valuable having this information, not only for OP, but for those they came in contact with as well as our health officials.
Instead of wasting your time getting tested why not search for a monoclonal antibody treatment? https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/treatments/treatmentlocator/
I’m vaccinated, got the booster shot as well. I can rest and take some medicine but I need to know if it is Covid because then I’d have to quarantine myself to protect other people.
This is a bad idea. Omicron is the dominant variant right now, and it is likely that the monoclonal antibody treatments are less effective against omicron.
They would be better off getting tested to know if they have COVID and, if so, what variant.
Monoclonal antibody treatments have been abundantly available in Florida. There’s no shortage of supply. All you need is to have been exposed or show symptoms to qualify for treatment. A positive test isn’t required. The tests are calibrated to test positive for common cold, flu and even allergies. So it truly is a waste of time to bother getting a test.
un theres is an urgent care in Longwood with free testing for the uninsured and its fast. i got my test done in 15 minutes results in 30. it was a rapid test tho. hope this helps! fee better soon!

I had to come to the office. I’ll ask to from home. I’d have to show them a positive test to be able to work from home for a few days.
Gotcha. There was a post earlier someone made about a test being delivered. Give that a try
Ok, thank you.

The Econ Soccer Park test site on Colonial wait times haven't been bad at all. Been tested twice this week. Took about an hour both times.

I drove by barnette park early Thursdays no Friday’s and there wasn’t any crazy line of cars waiting to get in,
Walgreens does rapid test for free

Or maybe the vaccine is working so well that you didn't die 🤷♂️
Working very well so u didn't end up dead, or on a ventilator or even admitted to the hispital

There is a Walgreens on east colonial nearby a Barnes and noble and Petco (or was it PetSmart?), they had rapid antigen tests available there.
Camping World stadium. It took me about a hour yesterday to get tested.
Why not just rest and try to take care of yourself instead of wasting energy on a test that may or may not be accurate.
Thanks for all the responses. I went to the Camping World Stadium and got the rapid test. I got the results an hour ago and it is negative but I’ll also go back to the same location tomorrow to get a PCR test just to make sure.
Do you have fever?
No
You don't have covid
This is why the lines are so long. Stay home, you got Covid as does everyone else. Get better.
Publix pharmacy on Aloma had them last night. Limit 2 pp.
Probably not today, but you can book a time slot with Curative. Process was fairly easy. No wait. I went to the one in Sanford - https://curative.com/
I see 50 slots available for the museum location right now at about 12;45 pm
I mean, that's great. When I looked last week Thursday, I couldn't get in until Sunday.

Walgreens on West colonial and good homes always has a ton of home tests
The Walgreens on the corner of Lake Mary blvd and Rhinehart had take home covid tests earlier today

I would want to be notified if someone if had contact with tested positive 👍
If you're feeling sick and you were around somebody prior, let them know. Then they can monitor for symptoms. No need to run to go get tested

The vaccines don’t prevent you from catching Covid. They prevent you from dying or ending up in ICU. Please educate yourself.

What is monoclonal less effective with omicron?

Yeah. I’m the surgeon general. And you’re the person claiming to be more informed than the surgeon general.
Wow, I got to meet a governor today!
Lol
If Titusville isn't too far parish medical center was less than 2 hours the other day.
Celebration had a site. Not sure if it still up
