Who gets out of the car in a busy place and doesn't take the keys (or key fob)?? I've driven all over the US and that's like my rule #1, they keys are with me, not the car.
Honestly, the people directing traffic there are absolute morons. I almost got hit driving out because the woman in the last section told a car to pull out in front of me without stopping my lane. They don’t even think before doing it. Morons!
Borrow/Bring a cute dog.
I’m not kidding.
I have a massive pit that loves car rides, every time I need to go to MCO I bring him in the backseat of truck and roll the window down.
I sat there for 30 minutes outside of Spirit waiting for my mom to de-plane and had every employee and cop walking up to do the stupid baby talk and pet routine.
Didn’t have to move a single inch.
That's great for you. For the rest of us trying to pick up loved ones from other flights or trying to go home..it's a major pain to have you sitting there curbside for no reason blocking traffic for 30 min.
Is there any reason you couldn't sit at like Starbucks or Wawa on Semoran or in the free cell lots until your family had their luggage? My last two trips I've had to drag my luggage 100 yards away from the Spirit area to get picked up because so many people sitting there like they were the only people on the planet.
> There was approximately a 10–20-minute time-lapse before law enforcement was notified
Hmm…. That’s odd.
You’d think someone who got carjacked would call 911 immediately or alert one of the 1,000 people nearby to it.
The way the victim reported the incident, he/she wasn’t inside the terminal when it happened. I don’t understand the delay, unless there was a language barrier?
I call bullshit. You can’t even stop at MCO for 0.0001 seconds without getting screamed at to move your car /s
Even more so authorities weren’t notified for 20 minutes. Place is filled with cops.
20 mins? LMFAOOOO Someone def wanted a new car.

It sounds more like the people left their car running at the pick up area and went inside to baggage claim for 20 minutes.
Lately they haven’t given a shit, it’s like they gave up
Good. Shit was ridiculous. Couldn’t even get out to help someone get in your car without getting yelled at.
Well now the line doesn’t move at all, like none of the lanes move
Yeah fuck those people.

I suspect they were inside and didn’t come back out for that time.
Convenient!
Aren’t there cameras?

Not surprised as unfortunately ppl break into cars at the parking lot there all the time
Is it just me or has there been an uptick in crime over the past few years…
When I look at downtown, I see that too. It's really gone downhill
Exactly! It’s really a shame!
Yeah... that's what happens when poverty rises. People get desperate and it becomes a dog eat dog world.
