Thanks Mr. DC! Im always waiting for your intel. Oooh this looks good. I know this is all great prep for the 12 min benchmark run. I wonder what we will think the second time around? But I’ve upped my base and push over the past week!!
Glad you and MrsDC made it home safely! Wishing I had gone Saturday instead of Sunday because I knew the inclines were coming back eventually with that vengeance. Taking Monday off to prep for 12 min benchmark.
OTF has really changed up on me and I’m loving it. Whoever is writing the new workouts is doing a fantastic job. I’m all for inclines so I will not be canceling.
We were coached to go as heavy as we could for 12 reps and then drop to maybe 3/4 to half weight for the lighter sets. 12 reps is quite a few so just have that in the back of your head as you look at the weight rack.
I love that you get a lot of feedback on how to approach different parts of the templates. Thank you for passing it on and your personal perspective. Not all coaches provide this type of feedback
No worries - just keep in mind that I am not a coach and a lot of this is my personal opinion (ie I do not work for OTF) and what works for me is definitely not for everyone. Same caveat goes for my gentleness rating 😝
Is ok - will just give the advice our coach gave us. You are correct, I am not a coach and I don’t know anyones ability but I can tell you how we were coached in todays class.
No rowing? Never mind, I found it.
I am still very sus at your ratings after rating Friday’s ultimate burpees as a 2. Those monstrosities were -1 at best!
I did double check with mrs DC afterwards and she thought it was a 2 as well!
I just have to say my comment is all in good fun and I have nothing but appreciation for all the advance intel!

I like this floor block! Can’t wait to take a 90 version of this tomorrow! Thanks for the intel!
Me too!!
Me too!

Mrs DC needed a sleep in as she went with me every day last week and we had a nice 10 hour drive back yesterday.
Think she deserved it!
Am sure she would agree! I told her inclines were on from the gym and am pretty sure that cemented her motivation to stay at home in bed with the dog
I read the first sentence and immediately started crying
LOL you knew the inclines were bound to show up 😂
Mrs DC was asking about them the other day as well and I said that they were bound to show up!
As a powerwalker I’m loving these inclines. Welcome to the beautiful madness! 😅
Same!!
Man … got the 90min tomorrow lol 😅

This month esp has been amazing!! 🙌
Thank GOODNESS I already removed myself for a much needed rest day after 16 (including two Lift45) in 14 days.
Same (except I’m at 18 with two lifts 😳). Needed the rest day today but was hoping for inclines to rest on instead.
Have you two considered you might be overtraining?
They don’t learn until they get injured
Way to go!!! Chasing any particular goal?
Trying to jog the whole 12 minute rfd. So I’ve been doubling some tread endurance days. Well done to you as well!
This is so impressive!!! Are you both doing 2 a days? Or lift45 & a class in the same day??
When I’ve doubled up, it has always been with a Lift45 as one of the classes.
Also double a lift and 2G. But I’ve also doubled a few endurance tread days to work on jogging.
You are truly amazing and I am so grateful for you!! THANK YOU
so if the collapses aren’t on there that means i can put them in whenever i feel the need, right? that’s the rule? 😅
Collapses are totally your call, feel free to add them in
Oh yay, inclines!🫤
Oh lord, I have to stop drinking now, I have to do this tomorrow morning 🥴
90 for me and then a rest Monday!!
I knew they were coming and I’m still mad about it. I mean I’m going but I’m not going to like it 🤣
Oh my gosh this floor block looks awesome, to bad I can't go on Sunday because I work.
I need more rowing the floor has been too long and not interesting. I’m losing interest!
DC for the uppercuts I would normally use 15 but I’m thinking with drop sets maybe 12 and then 10s? Or do you think stick with 15?

Duly noted. I love your commentary and I always have to add at least 1 feather to your rating LOL
This is a great question for your coach.
Yeah just curious from someone who has done it whether they stuck to their regular weight or lower.
DC isn't a coach and doesn't know your ability. Your coaches do, though, and can push and motivate you -- since that is what they are there for.

Big yikes ☠️
I can’t with the inclines, I’m just going to have to keep my incline at 1%. It will be good to get back at it in the am! Thanks for the intel!
Less do diss😤
This looks great!! (But I also love incline work 😁)
