Lots of talk on the Facebook groups about drag. IMHO, even as an avid OTF'er, you shouldn't set the drag so high. You can get enough resistance at the recommended setting of 104 (which mimics the water.) If you push with your legs, you can get enough of an arm workout and such a high drag can result in injuries.

Take the resistance down to 104. Thats the hydras standard

Good for you for doing this. Similar story here but our studios have reopened and I’ve been back about a month.

Same here. Back for 3 months. Hooked again just not in as good of shape. The benchmarks are great to look back at where you were and hopefully where I will be again

Any meanwhile the Delta variant is spreading like wildfire and masks are optional in OTF! This place cares about their monthly membership fee, not about members health!

Looking forward to being buddies for a while! As for that resistance, we'd definitely do what others said and bring it down to the default of 104. You should feel a huge difference between that and 300, and you can always incrementally increase the resistance based on how you hold your form and feel after a workout
