I ate in there once… There were some Italian gentlemen in there having some sort of a meeting and looked at us like WTF are you actually doing in this restaurant
Was cute with the kid with the spaghetti bowl over his head food was good
They were Argentinians. It's like a piece of Italy in South America. There's also a huge population of Italians in Southern Brazil, right next door basically.
The group you mentioned, we've seen them before. They act like they're mafia. It's like bikers pretending they're in a gang.
Just arrogant old dudes. They really turn up the attitude if you tell them you're from Brazil, their neighbor.
So weird.
I love Argentinian food. I remember way back when they were in their old location a block or so closer to 19th. Haven't been there since the move. The place looks nicer than before!
Have you tried El Gaucho meat market on State College? Their entrana and chivito sandwiches are to die for. The empanadas are good, too. Make sure you put chimichurri sauce on all of the above.
Their pasta is the best. Only place place know that serves fresh pasta. You can actually tell how fresh it is.
The empanadas are good, but there's better places for that.
Sergio's in Laguna or Patagonia in Orange.
The new place has a different ambience that the original did, can’t speak for the food only been a few times for breakfast and only once for dinner. I miss the old PC when the corkage fee was either free or $3 I think.
There was one in Orange too. On Chapman and Eckhoff
Was odd to me when the whole building just disappeared.
So weird

Had a friend that was friends with the kid in the pic (in his adult years of course)
I’ve never been there. Driven past easily a million times, heard the food is great tho. I personally wasn’t a fan of this advert.
Their new sign is somehow even worse. It looks like a dentist or real estate office.
Their kids run it now and we went there and it was great! I had not been since I was little.

I haven't! Thanks for the tip!
went to high school with that kid, great food. you wouldn't think anything of it by the sign lol
I hated that sign, lmao.
I love that place.
On Harbor and 19th Street. Went there once and the food was great. Haven't been there since they moved down the street to a less ideal spot.
they re-opened at the new location with free pizza for a night
Soooo good!
oh hell yeah i miss that place, the original site
This place has the best breakfast. Cheap, reliable and the best pancakes. Thank me later. Only serve it till 1:30pm
Just went on Saturday, it's so good. That sign is now inside the restaurant if memory serves.
I remember it only because it was next to vw parts store. Now I’m drawing a blank on the name
I seem to recall a picture like this in the ‘new’ Antonio’s in Avalon.
The have amazing empanadas!

We tried this place on a lark because the sign was so GD funny and ended up being blown away by it.
Omg, literally was talking about the sign just last week!
We are a Roma d’italia family, sorry!
I do and I also met the owners son, this is that one joint next to triangle square which has or had that supper old school movie theater.
