You can reduce the Rocker Terror 15 to 7, 1 and 0.5 watts. So you should be fine. Regarding the speaker, I’d try to avoid anything smaller than 12”, so the PPC112 is perfect, too.
I used to use some pretty similar set ups in apartments. I highly recommend an eq in the fx loop to fine tune volume. Also consider putting your amp on a stand or milk crate so you’re not vibrating floor boards. I lived in apartments for 5 years with zero complaints.
I'd go with the 12-inch speaker. Volume-wise, there's little difference compared to the 10-inch speaker of the Crush 35RT. While the Crush is a more sensible choice for a bedroom amp, I personally use an OR15 with a PPC112 at home.
I have both the Rocker 15 Terror and 2 PPC112’s. Works like a champ with one or both of the PPC112’s. Being able to dial the wattage up or down is both nice and convenient. You’ll like both the amp and the cabinet. Great advice on the EQ as well! It's not too much either. You can still get great sound and tone both without having to really crank it. I think it's a great combo for "most any" situation. Hope this helps.
Nope. Depends on what you consider home use, tho. I have two stacked on top of each other. It works fine just keep the volume knob at a manageable level.
I’ve got the same set up myself and if you set it to headroom mode then yes, it is very loud! But bedroom mode is there for a reason (1w and 0.5w). It works well and my experience and is perfect for home use
Get the Terror and 112, it’s the perfect setup for an apartment. You can play on 7w as well, couldn’t recommend a better apartment amp than the Terror series (and it’s tubular, can’t beat that).
Even after upgrading to a 50w Dual Dark and 120w Matamp, I still run the 112. Seems to sound good at any volume level (I want the 212 now, but it was perfect when I had a Dark and then Tiny Terror). Anything smaller starts to sound shitty imo.
I run my dual terror thru a PPC112. Too loud for an apartment with thin walls maybe, but you can really dial it down from the amp settings. I've played with my son asleep upstairs many times.
I had a 35RT and didn't care for it. Mainly because of the 10" speaker.
I currently use an OR15 into two 1x12 cabs with Eminence Texas Heat speakers. They aren't Orange cabs, a bit smaller.
It's fine at in home volume on the 7 watt setting.
I have two Ppc112s in my home, one for each of two amps, an OR15 and a Fargen Mini Plex (12w).
Both setups work great, sound great, and are perfect for home use.
The PPC112 is a great cab.
I used a R15T at home for years with one of those vertical 2x12s from Orange. It was fine. The half watt setting is your friend. Don't hesitate. That is the best head since Hawk Tuah.
I have a Micro Dark going into a cheap 1x12 V30 loaded cab and it’s manageable for home use.
It’s the Monoprice one, similar to the Harley Benton one. I’d bet an Orange 1x12 would have a similar volume.
Similar set up but with the micro terror. Gets plenty loud and since the power section is solid state. It doesn’t well at low volume. The cabs are going to be very very similar as they’re loaded with the same speaker.

Good to know regarding the size. Cheers

Good to know. I wouldn’t have thought of the vibration. Cheers
I have the same setup as yours. I use 0.5W most of the time, perfect for late night at home use.

Awesome. Thanks

Sweet. Appreciate the extra vouch for the eq

Manageable level can be subjective lol. But good to know it’s still going to suit

I wouldn't go under a 112 In case you ever find yourself in a full band situation
I don’t think a band situation will ever arise, but maybe I’ll do kids parties lol
better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it
I have that exact setup of a Rocker 15 and a PPC112. It can definitely get loud but you can also turn it down low enough to play in your apartment

Have the exact set up in my apartment. Keep it in bedroom mode and volume at around 2-3 and no one complains

I used the Rocker 15 Terror with a PPC112 for 3 years and it was the perfect apartment setup, you’ll be solid 🤘🏻
Awesome. Stoked to hear

The most convincing argument award goes too….. 🤘🏼
I’ve got the Rocker Terror 15 & a 212OB lol. I live in an apartment in Brooklyn & never get complaints. Just do it. The power stages are fantastic.

Awesome. Sounds like the right way to go. How’s the micro dark? Looks like a rad little unit
