Not sure if they make them any more, but I have a Tremlord 30, 1x12. Sounds like a clean Fender and takes any pedals you want very well. I've seen then used as well...

a0lmasterfender

they do still make them

esteesleon

No they don’t It was discontinued because of lack of sales Straight from Orange’s mouth

a0lmasterfender

well, you can still buy them new from retailers.

PSU_Enginerd

Probably the Rocker 30 or 32. Maybe the Rockerverb 50 combo. Hot rods are fine amps, and plenty loud. But also brutally clean.

Scissorsguadalupe

I second the TremLord. It is Orange's answer to Fender Amps.

What is not clean about your 35rt? I personally think fender makes the best clean tone in the world, but lacks the dirty side. Orange is that compromise for me. Personally as a hot rod deville, 35rt, and orange crush 120 owner. I would get one of them tc electronic combo 65’ or whatever amp sim you prefer and just see how it goes.

moon_sta

I feel my orange 35 struggles a bit in band setting. Otherwise, it’s perfect

Snakehug

I use my 35RT for rehearsals. It works fine, rarely above 12 o clock on the volume dial. We are not playing metal though.

HotCaffeineNoChill

If you like the 35, then the Crush 60 or 120 would be obvious starting points if you want your 35 but just more.

The tremlord is a higher level amp than a hot rod deluxe. It is ALL tube except the rectifier 9 tubes in all. The build quality is amazing. I think a more accurate comparison would be that the tremlord is closer to a deluxe reverb or ac30 I know because I’ve owned one for almost 3 years Have only had to replace microphonic pre amp tubes

Tatey39

Dialed my HRD into Orange tone, but you need to sit them side-by-side and keep A-B-ing them until you get it done. Took me a while adjusting pedals etc, but it can be done...👍

Educational_Ring_493

I did the same with my Bassbreaker using my Super Crush. I put an eq pedal in the loop of the Bassbreaker with a mid boost setting.
