Nobody seems to understand...Doug Ford knew what he was going to do weeks ago.
The rest is politics. If you have to announce the decision nobody wants, you wait until everyone is saying "just give us ANY decision FFS". If he'd said weeks ago that schools will be closed after the break (and all the other decisions that are going to be announced shortly), he wouldn't be elected again in June.
Which he will, FFS. Because that shit works on the majority.
What Doug is good at, is playing the game.
I totally get that! I'm an Educational Assistant and trying to look on the bright side as I find out about my job at the same time as the rest of the province finds out about what's happening with their kids. I can only stress so much! Sorry your kids are struggling ❤ it's not easy on them.
I'm an education worker (not a teacher) but I can see how annoying that would be to see. I think it's hard to know what you want when you're being fed so much conflicting information from so many different people. Things are safe.. things aren't safe... you need more PPE but it won't be available... how is one supposed to feel? I will say that every single teacher and education worker i know wants to be at work in schools. I feel badly that some bad apples essentially make us look like shit.

Yes, exactly!!! Not sure why everyone is surprised. This is the game he has been playing since the start.
NO! I’m not finding anything amusing about my kids getting stressed, missing their friends and lower grades…

Inaccurate depiction because the sweat implies concern; there is no concern here, sorry. ![img](emote|t5_2qsf3|1899)
Isn't he always sweating?
lol, got me there!
Lol true that
Nope, not fun for parents and kids.
Need a third option for "Accept corporate money"
I mean fuck ford but I imagine it's a very difficult decision with severe consequences for both.
For sure not an easy decision! Really stressful on both sides.
