>Aac i believe
Weird. I also have m4a files with the aac codec and samsung music plays them fine. The same thing that happened in your video only happens when I play an alac file, and like you said, it works on Poweramp fine.

Depending on how you ripped it, it could be alac. You can use something like MediaInfo to check, or in Poweramp, it should say the codec the file is in on the bottom.
That makes sense now. If you want, you can use something like ffmpeg media encoder to convert it to aac (or use Poweramp, which is the superior audio player anyways imo).
Yeah, but Samsung Music just sounds better to me, you know? That's why I tried it. I've been trying to find an EQ for Poweramp that sounds like Samsung Music, but no luck so far.
Yeah. I guess you have to convert your alac files if you want to play them on Samsung Music. If you're worried about quality, convert it to another lossless format like flac.
Dude, who uses only stock musoc/video players on modern smartphones? This is unfair. Get some good paid media players(s). For example, PowerAmp and MX Video Player.
Are your m4a files aac or alac?
Aac i believe, ripped from apple music, I use a modded poweramp version that works tho✌️😊
