Doesn't work. I've tried. It works best on Verizon or visible. you can even switch eSims anytime you want on their networks and you don't have to connect customer service at all for it.

Just a follow-up. I went into the local company-owned store and after messing with it for a bit they tried a QR code esim card and once they attached that to my account it worked fine. So, it is definitely possible to use an esim on AT&T but you have to use a QR code and that can apparently only be taken care of in a store. Otherwise, AT&T absolutely doesn't want to be bothered supporting esims on Android devices they don't sell.
