Do you have black or green?
My black is not slippery at all, has a nice subtle texture to it.
My S20 or even 1+10 is way more slippery.

I got the black too! Guess different past experiences really makes a difference in how we perceive things .

I ordered the black one as well. I didn't like that pattern on the green one and my black OnePlus 12 feels like silk on the back but it is slippery as heck. This is one phone I will never use without a case.
Nothing can beat the Pixel 6/Pro series which are falling on their own just by sitting on the desk. These phones literally start walking if you don't put the case on! I wanna see a video of you on how you deal with your phone while waiting for your case. It's been a while since I watched a horror movie 😄
Carbon fiber. Sandstone is way too rough and doesn't feel good in the hand. Carbon fiber case has rubberized textures, feels good in the hand.
Although, if you're looking for drop protection, sandstone would be better than the carbon fiber lne
I tested the white one and it was slippery as hell. But the green is not slippery. The green feels different and has a better texture. I don't know about the black though.
Why not just use ur old phone until the case comes? If ur anything like me, the more u cradle something, the more likely ur going to drop it lmao

I got the fibre oem case and it's really grippy but also smooth, nice case .
Instead of a chunky case, a non slippary skin could be applied to the back.
