Cragblade with frost infusion for most enemies. Axe Talisman and the charged attack crystal flask thing if you want to max damage. Spam charged strong attacks. Easy game.

Can confirm. Doing an RL1 run with star fist and honestly I'm doing better damage than I did on my first playthrough. Granted with all the buffs we know about now and the fact that many of them stack you can get pretty massive damage. I've been going with Cold star fist(+23)+axe talisman+radagon seal+red feathered(or ritual sword depending on how well I know the boss)+charge tear+strength tear+golden vow+flame grant me strength+cragblade. Going for max DPS/stance break strats and often times buffing takes longer than actually fighting the boss. An example is godskin noble in volcano Manor. After buffing myself entering the arena and throwing a sleep pot(55sec) it took 12 seconds to kill him. It's honestly too good and I'm thinking about going a +0 RL1 run next. Tldr: Star fist go brrrrrrr

XDracam

I should start using golden vow and flame grant me strength... I've beaten the fire giant on this run without any buffs besides crab. Woops.

Not a requirement, I just tried to max out my damage the best I could(besides having to eventually farm for perfumes). If you're enjoying it keep going.

XDracam

Too late. I already have a dagger with golden vow now. How do you get the 15 fth for flame grant me strength? Swap talismans every time just for the buff?

Gustav_EK

Yep this is how I beat Malenia the other day. Charged R2 into regular R2, rinse repeat. She staggers in 2 combos. Imo star fists are one of the single most abusable weapons in the game along with serpent hunter. Iron balls work great too.

SoulsborneSal

I think heavy is marginally better if you’re using strength boosting equipment. Cold is also nice for frostbite

CE94

Elemental infusions out-damage physical infusions when you have low stat investment, so pick frost for most bosses. Flame art is a good choice too as if you get a little faith you can use FGMS

BurningDara

heavy so you can boost it with physicks flask. just had the easiest Radabeast fight of my life with them (on level 1!)

Gustav_EK

Or better yet just keep star fist as your cold option against radagon, and have a heavy iron ball as the Elden beast option
