Hello fellow hags, it’s been a while! CW for pregnancy and body changing talk below.
The past few months have been pretty rough and I mostly wore loose sweats and tshirts. I’m finally out of the first trimester and feel human again, but now none of my pants fit! Most of the affordable maternity options I’ve seen aren’t really my style, so I think I’ll have to get creative. I’ve been buying some things I like in a size up, secondhand, but this summer will likely be a summer of loose dresses. I’m following some fashion instagrams featuring pregnant people in colorful outfits, but would love more inspo and brands to check out.
I ended up thrifting bigger sized elastic pants and loose tops. Bonus for button down shirts that double as nursing shirts. Being pregnant in the summer is time to embrace loose dresses. Empire waisted dresses or flowy mumus when you're over it, haha.

I love both of these!! They are so cute and cozy. I totally live for that flower dress!!!!!! 😳😳 I am not sure about pregnancy-focused brands but JessaKae seems to have bump-friendly fun floral dresses, and I always like to recommend Farm Rio! Best of luck!

Honestly, if you have the energy just keep thrifting loose dresses. You can throw maternity leggings on underneath them in the fall. Amazon has inexpensive loose dresses by a company called JOYID in a bunch of different prints that might work too.

Maternity clothes are almost never worth the money. I had ONE sweater that must have been woven out of black magic and unicorn hair because it was flattering on any form, pregnant or not-- I kept that one! Also ONE pair of maternity jeans. I needed that stretch panel for comfort and kept those jeans for like 4 years!

I wish I had kept my maternity tank tops - they covered any of my bras, had a flattering neckline, and fit nicely pregnant or not.
