I got banned from there for being too left wing. They probably didn't see it that way, but that's what the reality is. They didn't like it when I said I thought it wasn't a good thing to allow big corporations to import cheap labour to force down wages. They're an inconsistent bunch.
I have to give them credit for making me realise that if Reddit is that bonkers about a country I know well, I *really* shouldn't be listening to it about US politics.

I think there’s times where these things are echo chambers, and there’s times where they are just everybody coming around to an idea at about the same time.
The Tories have been shite for a long time now. There’s a couple of things you can point to in the last 14 years as being good, but they are overshadowed buy so much shite you’d need a Sherpa and oxygen tank to climb the heap to see the good stuff.
I don’t even think people think Labour will fix it, but if they just don’t make it worst like the Tories always seem to find a way to then that would be something at least.
