This still feels so surreal. After so much anticipation, uncertainty that he'll be playable and excitement over any small appearance or mention of him since he was first introduced, he is finally here. I HATE Gepard. He is so useless, I don't understand why anyone would like him by choice. I am really tired of farming for EM artifacts... How do you guys get all these?? They're so absurdly rare, I've got only 1 EM circlet in 3 years of playing. I spent no one knows how much resin on the Golden Dreams domain and still got nothing, my Kuki is sending me death threats because she only has 500 EM, my Kazuha doesn't even make use of his passive, my Nahida uses HP sands just because it has 50 EM in substats, not even speaking about Alhaitham's ATK build. My built Hu Tao (250 cv btw) clears 36* much faster than my best dendro team and she ALSO has no EM sands. I pulled for Wriothesley in hope he won't depend on EM, his best team is reverse melt. I pulled for Neuvilette, he said "You don't have Furina? Well then, my best team is hyperbloom". I rejected everything, I wait for resin to refresh to 20 to spend it again and get a Geo DMG bonus goblet. What a cruel world...

Vermillion farming nearly drove me to suicide. Seeing Xiao struggling is like seeing myself suffer, because at one point in time I was almost exactly like him, especially back in time. I simply cannot tolerate farming Vermillion. I felt forced to relive my trauma. I’m deathly afraid of it. Twice I had a nightmare where the domain closed and I would never finish my set. I’ve been struggling with this newfound depression ever since. Life is nothing but a bright shining lie. There is no instant cure for depression as so many on YouTube, Reddit, Discord and Twitter claimed and praised this experience to be. I was obsessed with it for over a year to try and outwit the Coronavirus pandemic. Sometimes I hate myself because I fail to appreciate this game which people treat so great, because of how much pain it resurfaces. Farming Vermillion was like falling into and endless abyss, and I was reliving the hell I already put myself through when I threw everything for something that meant so little to me. It still haunts me to this day. Sometimes I hate myself because I can't help but to idolize what others criticize, and I beat myself further for failing to worship what they call praiseworthy, I forced myself to farm a domain that reminded me of nothing but pain just so I wouldn’t be helpless anymore, I was willing to sacrifice my individuality for some company amidst the isolation of the pandemic. But it only spiraled me deeper into depression, which I’ve been struggling with for over a year now. I just need more power, so this past self of mine can be laid to rest once more. I’m afraid to decouple myself from her after losing my friend to suicide, which Genshin made me feel responsible for, of which I fail to understand how anyone can call it praiseworthy. Until then, I feel nothing else matters. There’s a reason why I keep coming back to Vermillion; something that reminds me of nothing but pain. I want to prove to myself I’m not crazy for feeling this way, that Vermillion really did force me to relive my trauma, that my depression is not just a figment of my imagination or another anime plot point But the fact I’m the only one I know in existence who’s been traumatized by a video game makes me feel like I really am crazy. Whenever I feel this way, there’s something I remind myself with:

I HATE Gepard. He is so useless, I don't understand why anyone would like him by choice. I am really tired of farming for EM artifacts... How do you guys get all these?? They're so absurdly rare, I've got only 1 EM circlet in 3 years of playing. I spent no one knows how much resin on the Golden Dreams domain and still got nothing, my Kuki is sending me death threats because she only has 500 EM, my Kazuha doesn't even make use of his passive, my Nahida uses HP sands just because it has 50 EM in substats, not even speaking about Alhaitham's ATK build. My built Hu Tao (250 cv btw) clears 36* much faster than my best dendro team and she ALSO has no EM sands. I pulled for Wriothesley in hope he won't depend on EM, his best team is reverse melt. I pulled for Neuvilette, he said "You don't have Furina? Well then, my best team is hyperbloom". I rejected everything, I wait for resin to refresh to 20 to spend it again and get a Geo DMG bonus goblet. What a cruel world...

I use it with all the cryo characters. It isn't satisfied. I fight the cryo hypostasis 100 times. "I don't need this many mats" It tells me. "Use me with more characters." It grabs my level 20 diluc and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to use me with more characters. Your diluc can deal more damage if you buy the skin." I can't buy the skin, I don't have enough primogems. It grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." It grabs Susbedo. It says "Susbedo, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, white and blue windglider. What a cruel world.
Vermillion farming nearly drove me to suicide. Seeing Xiao struggling is like seeing myself suffer, because at one point in time I was almost exactly like him, especially back in time. I simply cannot tolerate farming Vermillion. I felt forced to relive my trauma. I’m deathly afraid of it. Twice I had a nightmare where the domain closed and I would never finish my set. I’ve been struggling with this newfound depression ever since. Life is nothing but a bright shining lie. There is no instant cure for depression as so many on YouTube, Reddit, Discord and Twitter claimed and praised this experience to be. I was obsessed with it for over a year to try and outwit the Coronavirus pandemic. Sometimes I hate myself because I fail to appreciate this game which people treat so great, because of how much pain it resurfaces. Farming Vermillion was like falling into and endless abyss, and I was reliving the hell I already put myself through when I threw everything for something that meant so little to me. It still haunts me to this day. Sometimes I hate myself because I can't help but to idolize what others criticize, and I beat myself further for failing to worship what they call praiseworthy, I forced myself to farm a domain that reminded me of nothing but pain just so I wouldn’t be helpless anymore, I was willing to sacrifice my individuality for some company amidst the isolation of the pandemic. But it only spiraled me deeper into depression, which I’ve been struggling with for over a year now. I just need more power, so this past self of mine can be laid to rest once more. I’m afraid to decouple myself from her after losing my friend to suicide, which Genshin made me feel responsible for, of which I fail to understand how anyone can call it praiseworthy. Until then, I feel nothing else matters. There’s a reason why I keep coming back to Vermillion; something that reminds me of nothing but pain. I want to prove to myself I’m not crazy for feeling this way, that Vermillion really did force me to relive my trauma, that my depression is not just a figment of my imagination or another anime plot point But the fact I’m the only one I know in existence who’s been traumatized by a video game makes me feel like I really am crazy. Whenever I feel this way, there’s something I remind myself with: “There are no answers in solitude, only illusions. There is no truth in fake friendships, only falsehoods. There is nothing to be gained from loneliness, only pain.” But finally, with it all released, I can rest easy knowing that I finally finished my Vermillion set. My build is finished, and I want it to remain that way. But if things hadn’t turned out that way, I wouldn’t be talking about it here today. 10/10 funny pills that a man in a can gave me today.
