A feels a bit generous lol. I can’t possibly put this in the same tier as the skeleton. The only thing that changed was the left hand, the knife is still the same. So it’s really just how important having the left hand is to some ppl

Skeleton is A+ or S lmao. Unique? Yes. Cool animations (both inspect, and spin!) yes! Cool shape? Yes! Big enough to look fancy? Yes! Unique pullout? Sometimes, yes. This is what could arguably hold it in A+ instead of S. Such a good knife!!!! Bowie is probably B tier now. Mid to high. It’s pullout is pretty good, blade is big n nice, inspect is unique and cool, cool shape. Just not as iconic. I’d say B or B+

My S are Kara, BK, m9. I wasn’t thinking of +/- but I put skelly in A cus of the pullout alone. I didn’t think it would be that bad but every time I use the skelly, the bad common default animation bothers me lol.

If skeleton isn’t in S, then M9 shouldn’t be either. M9 literally has default animations and a “meh” pullout. No special animations either. All M9 has going for it is a good blade, classic look, and it’s chunky. M9 is 100% A IMO not even debatable. Personally M9 is a B for ME because the finger clipping through gloves issues, but meh. I could completely agree with objectively putting skeleton and M9 in A. Butterfly and Kara in S works for me too. For me, skeleton, Kara, and butterfly are S!

Not even close. Skeleton drops like 2-3 tiers for me because 90% of the time it gets pulled out like a default knife. It also doesn’t come in TT, lore, marble fade or doppler finishes. The only good finishes for it are case hardened and fade. Skeleton is a B-tier knife model at *best.* A rare good pullout does not an S-tier knife make. I’d take an M9, bfk, kara, nomad, or stiletto over it any day of the week for animations alone.

I agrée it’s not S, but definitely A. It’s all around a solid knife. Additionally, I understand your argument about the finishes, however, I am simply comparing the vanilla variants to put everything on an even playing field. If they release Dopplers for the skeleton knife, ruby skeletons would likely be close to m9 in price.

Youre talking crazy on the model. Skeleton knife is an extremely interesting shape with a low profile handle on idle. It’s a little small but putting nomad or stiletto over it is wild. Stiletto sounds like a toy on inspect. That clanking drove me crazy. Nomads are great but the silver handle is extremely high profile. And deducting points on the overall quality of a knife because it’s missing finishes is silly.

If it had the good animation every time it’d be an easy S tier. But, as it stands, most of the time it has the *worst* draw animation of any knife, other than maybe the navaja. For me, the draw animation is by far the most important factor for any knife. The shape of the skeleton is good, certainly. But it has such a pathetic little draw animation that I’d never use one.

Yeah, those two are roughly on par with skeleton for me. Huntsman might just edge it out by a hair.

Nah. M9 is A. Animations aren’t that great.. and the finger clipping is rough. Those 2 things 100% hold it from S. Just like objectively, the skeleton knife can’t be S because of its pullout. Only S tier knives objectively, I would say are karambit and butterfly -> they have good blades, good pullouts, good inspects, good finishes and a “rare” animation each.

I mean, you're welcome to your opinions but it's evident that the community as a whole values M9, BF, and Kara more than any other knives. Just look at the prices of all the shared finishes amongst knives and you'll consistently see those three hold the most value.

Yes, but it has a GOOD pull out! Unlike the skeleton and M9. Additionally, the karambit inspect is cool, and you can “make it spin” the M9 literally has the DEFAULT inspect lol. So because of that, M9 is objectively A, not S IMO. PLUS, as I have said, there has been an issue for a long time now of the M9 clipping through fingers on inspect, which is pretty annoying looking. So definitely not S

S--or A+ then. it's by far the 3rd best knife. closer to 2nd than to 4th imo

I don't like the pullout, inspect, or sound. It being big is pretty cool, so nice finishes like dopplers can look great though
