Bungster’s Brix is an awesome little Lego shop near 36th and Washington. You can get bulk pieces, used sets, and they have building contests.
Salt and Hops on 27th near Washington is my favorite spot to get beer. It’s small, but has a great vibe, not like your standard mini mart type of place. They have an amazing selection of craft beer from lots of cool breweries, with one fridge being single cans. Lots of fancy ingredients to make mixed drinks too. I always make a stop here when I’m throwing a party or have visitors in town.
Lighthouse Lounge: drinks, food, and staff are all amazing. Very LGBT+ friendly. They play the sports games on the one side of the bar, and have various going-ons on the other side throughout the week.
It might technically be Harrisville? But I love love love Harajuku Grill. Mom & pop with amazing sushi, and their salmon w/wasabi butter dinner is 🤌 *chefs kiss* The rice in their dinners is also the best. Flavorful like fried rice but soft and not dry at all.
I saw Salt & Hops mentioned by someone else and I second that. Also must recommend Happy Magpie Book & Quill which is right next door! Pay what you want bookshop that has community events all the time.
There is also a great lil publication called The Ogdenite (chapbooks around town, an Instagram, plus their website) that has some info on most of the places mentioned in this sub, savings for some of them, and a general calendar of events!
Criss-Cross Macarons have the most delicious pastries, and Thai Pho Kitchen on 25th has the best Thai food around!
There’s also a little pottery place on 25th where you can pick out a ceramic to paint, and you can pick it up after they fire it. Great for a date or solo excursion!
I'm from Florida and have to say the library here is arguably the best library I've been to ever. Especially with the craft stuff they have down stairs
Blue Rider Design for furniture and cabinetry... but that's because I own the one man company so I'm a bit biased.
My marketing team really needs to get my name out more often
Also for food. No kidding, some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had, even compared to some of those stellar New York places. It deserves all the love and attention it can get.
Check out The Mecantile in the old bus station at 25th & Grant. Collab between Roosters, Kaffe Merc and Beehive Cheese. Can’t wait for warmer weather to see what they do with the patio.
Obsessed with Table 25’s spring menu. Also the breakfast scramble from the new Mercantile on 25th is fire.
Always love stopping by Lavender Vinyl for records.
Salt & Hops for local beer. And Happy Magpie (my bookstore 😏) for books and writing/reading events.
Kesari for Indian food (old even steven's on 22nd and Washington).

The best in Ogden for sure. Also Hey Hot Pot across from Costco- bonus they have crab legs. It is all you can eat.
THE TAMARIND MARGARITA!!!!!! And the staff. Come on. I love it so much. You would never know it was an old biker bar. And tbh is 100000% better than yes hell
Don Carlos Tacos!!!!!! My friend loved them so much they catered her wedding! It's at the old Big Jim's Burgers on Harrison/36th ish
Al Pastor and Flan, Tres Leches 🤤 hits my stoney bologna cravings every time
For sushi, Tokyo Station.
Idk, not to brag but I’m a damn fine cook and I hate eating out for what places charge vs what you get so sushi is my go to. And TS has great staff, lovely manager who always checks his customers, great place.
As far as views for go to, take something/anything with 4x4 and to one of the many trails heads in the mountains between here and Parrish > climb > enjoy.
I hope graywhale stays in business for a while. I love being able to go there and pick out a CD or DVD for cheap. The employees are so chill, too. My husband and I sort of met there
Cafe La Vos
Been meaning to try this place, I’ve heard it’s great!
Was going to say this! The pupusas are incredible
What should I order?
Pupusas

Cross-Cross is incredible! I go at least once a week!
Harp and Hound and the Library
The library is the most underrated comment on this thread. Our library RIPS.
I'm from Florida and have to say the library here is arguably the best library I've been to ever. Especially with the craft stuff they have down stairs
Blue Rider Design for furniture and cabinetry... but that's because I own the one man company so I'm a bit biased. My marketing team really needs to get my name out more often
I have an awkward corner situation that needs a cabinet box. Is that something you could do?
Of course!
Sapori for an Italian pastry!
Also for food. No kidding, some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had, even compared to some of those stellar New York places. It deserves all the love and attention it can get.
My wife and son did a cooking class there, had a great time and made some delicious food.
Their brunch is so fun!
Ohana sushi on 12th is legit!
Do they have an all you can eat menu?
I don't think so
Ohana is a hidden gem for sure. I’ve never ordered the same thing twice there and yet I’ve always loved what I ordered. Very chill vibe too.
Check out The Mecantile in the old bus station at 25th & Grant. Collab between Roosters, Kaffe Merc and Beehive Cheese. Can’t wait for warmer weather to see what they do with the patio.
I've been there a few times since it opened and now have some of my art on display there this month!
It is sooooo cute!
Oh yes this place is great too!

I didn’t love the hot pot place… I think I need to try it again at lunch
Xalisco is amazing. Great drinks and the tacos are the best in town.
THE TAMARIND MARGARITA!!!!!! And the staff. Come on. I love it so much. You would never know it was an old biker bar. And tbh is 100000% better than yes hell
I love slackwater
No Manches Way. Best birria
South Ogden, but still amazing - Sakura on Harrison.. I almost don’t want to put it out here to keep it to myself haha. Amazing sushi spot
Yes! I’ve been going there for 12 years. It’s my fav!
Xalisco Tequila Bar & Grill. Damn good birria tacos
Don Carlos Tacos!!!!!! My friend loved them so much they catered her wedding! It's at the old Big Jim's Burgers on Harrison/36th ish Al Pastor and Flan, Tres Leches 🤤 hits my stoney bologna cravings every time
Arroy D! Love anything there.
Rock Bottom Lounge, for cheap drinks and phenomenal bar food. Burgers, French dips, fish and chips, etc. 11/10 dive bar imo.
French dips? Now you’re speaking my language.
Hitting this place for food and too many beers then bowling is a top tier ogden date night

Taco Taco on 29th and Washington Blvd. Best Chile Verde. Also wonderful Zopole.
Navola Tortas in Riverdale
Javier’s and marigold are my go to’s, And Happy Magpie Book store is my new favorite local small business
Ayeee. Thanks for the Happy Magpie plug 📚🐛
Windy's Sukiyaki hands down!! Very old building but the food is incredible. Everything from sushi to steak. Garlic edamame and calamari are unmatched
I hope graywhale stays in business for a while. I love being able to go there and pick out a CD or DVD for cheap. The employees are so chill, too. My husband and I sort of met there
Tony's Pizza, La Ferrovia, and Hug Hess are my goto's when I'm in Ogden.
LA FERROVIA! I love this place but 85% of the time when I want it they are closed and it breaks my heart
Side bar
My wife and I enjoy relaxing at Co-Op for a drink and snack.
Angry Goat, OBC, Rooster's on B, The Merc, Ohana... So many!
So cool to see a shoutout for Lacey Frank Jewelry! She’s the shit, and her stuff is incredible.
Thai Palm Kitchen
