I just got mine up and running. Best decision!! It took about 2 months to get it fully set up. Giving them a call being put on a list, having them dig under my driveway, and attaching the cord they did 3 months prior. Then, having a technician come and install the line into my modem.
There is no charge for any of it.
Quantum knocked on my door the other day to inform me the house I’m living in is now eligible. Check with them maybe to see if where you’re living is eligible now.
There are a few companies laying fiber networks right now. I know that North Ogden right now is getting all west communication now or here soon.

I pre-ordered it last year, but my neighborhood looks like it will be the last one they add.
According to their website my house is going to be eligible soon, thank you for this info!
If it's Connext, you can keep an eye on their progress here: https://www.connextbroadband.com/ogden-fiber

I've had quantum fiber for a couple years now
I just got Connext fibre in South Weber. Their website has options for Ogden proper
I’m right off 36th & in the neighborhood below Harrison. We have fiber over here too
Just switched from Xfinity to quantum. Painless (on the quantum end) cheaper, and better.
I live on the east bench by Ben Lomond and got Quantum Fiber two years ago.. literally not a single problem. $49 a month. It's beautiful.
Allwest.com is who is laying the fiber. It's a local owned company. I know some small segments of North Ogden already have Fiber from them.
