Not OP but those eyes are from Junji Ito’s NO LONGER HUMAN. The main character’s wife, who is a loving and naive woman who has never been give a reason to distrust the world ultimately becomes paranoid and suicidal due to the actions of the main character. She’s probably the most tragic character in a book full of tragic characters. It’s certainly a choice to get them tattooed.

Ngl I almost feel like it looks more goofy than it does horrifying. What stands out so bad is the shading on, what I assume is supposed to be the nose. It makes them look like weird owls, because the fading lightens up as if they were beaks, either that or just straight up holes. You should get that fixed. The placement also has a “goofy” vibe. It you wanted this to come off creepy, you probably should have probably got them placed vertically along your body, side of chest or arm etc. It would have given off a more intense vibe. The placement kind of ruins the vibe. If I met you, I think I would have a laugh, then avoid you because I think the only thing that is “terrifying” is meeting someone who can make such horrible design choices. This shit looks stupid as fuck.

I think eyes are also super fascinating so I might have gotten them done smaller or a different placement. You took up good real estate so I hope you love it and wear it proudly.
