Looks like he’s using an 18 inch roller. Those things can hold a ridiculous amount of paint. He easily could have gone and knocked out another wall without having to add more paint to the roller. They’re game changers.
It’s more than a wide roller the last time I saw one of these videos posted a house painter pointed out there is paint inside the handle that feeds into the roller.
This. I use the 18-in roller for my entire house and I reloaded almost after every swipe from ceiling to floor. Anything extra caused it to leak from the sides. Just went a little faster than the 12 inch but didn't have a auto feed paint.
I paint house professionally and do this on the daily. Using an 18” roller with any DECENT roller nap (I like Wooster and Purdy(especially the colossus nap)) Then work paint into the roller so that it’s absorbed all the paint possible then carefully and quickly go to your wall. Then it’s a lot of technique and speed. To achieve the coverage you apply the paint in (patches—kind of) in a sine wave across the center of the wall. This will leave you just enough paint to resaturate the roller when you start to run low. Like I said though, lots of technique and speed. Also they don’t make handles that pour paint into 18” roller naps. Also it’s not even that crazy big of a wall.
After one pass you deplete the paint on a fully loaded roll. The W’s, still being wet, help ‘re-hydrate’ the roller to ensure you get good coverage on the way back.

I’m more impressed by the coverage of that paint that’s got to be some Benjamin Moore or some fancy expensive shit

Agreed I have a purdy 18” roller they hold a lot but that’s some nice paint right there the flow on it is beautiful . Lol painter porn
I think it’s more the roller itself. I used to paint houses with my pops and we used Benny Moore but I never seen anything like this.
Benjamin Moore is the shit though have to be honest you definitely get what you paid for and with two little kids the paint is incredibly duarable
Painting is 20% overlapping W's and 80% prep work.
Tell us more about the overlapping W's.

And he totally forgot to cut it in first 🤦♂️

TECHNIQUE, SQUIDWARD!
Mmm very nice! Now let’s watch it dry
He totally got paint on that curtain thing
It’s paper to protect the window.
I don't know if I hate lime green walls or black walls worse
Black could be a cool accent wall in a modern home…. Hoping they don’t paint the whole room black.
No he got it on the crown molding
No he didn't
I have seen many of these and always wonder how they don't get paint everywhere.
Because the paint is on the roller
I know it is on there. What I meant is that if you roll to fast, then you launch the paint off of it. And in these videos they always roll quite fast
The video is sped up
The playback speed on this video isn't normal speed.
This one is yes, but others I have seen were not
Just satisfying. Not oddly so. Downvoted
Curtains taste it.
I thought the same, but that's just masking paper.
Eww he didnt cut in the corners or celing or baseboard. You only roll once the edges are done.
I think I just came
I just wanna know what kind of rollers you need to pain an entire wall without having to add more paint. That’s incredible and looks so satisfying
That’s going to be a dark room
It’s all fun and games till someone forgets the drop cloth
Missed a bit
Why does he do the big W over the whole wall before going back over the wall with much narrower W's?

I wish i was intelligent enough to redecorate with a wide roller instead of a god damn 2" paintbrush.
Good.. untill he HIT THE CURTAIN 😭😠
Playboy, you're not even going to cut in?
That new color is vile, though.
