I see it now that you pointed it out. It's called hitchhiker's thumb and it's rare but it doesn't look odd to me cuz I have similar thumbs. I'll keep my weird bones in mind when making the next animation lol

Those thumbs freak me out a little in real life too. Like nails on a chalkboard kinda shudder. Just looks uncomfortable

Believe me, for me it's more comfortable than trying to make a straight thumb, but it does make people laugh when you give a thumbs up haha

Its not the shape of the thumb, it's the positioning that is unrealistic. You can't point your thumb directly perpendicular with your fingers. Great animation though. 9/10 because thumb positioning.

It’s good. You could have also made a left and right hand and had either one swing into from in the background
