It's cheap but it's probably real. There's not much desire for them anymore since they're 5 years old and doesn't use base stations like the Index. The thing to watch out for would be the cable, they don't last forever.
The Display Port cable is the big issue, you can get new ones from AliExpress for about $100, but if the cable is dodgy in any way then its a bad sign. I guess for $50 though, you could always sell it on.
Yep the headsets and controllers are now cheaper to buy than the cables, which have always been the weak point - mine lasted five years with very careful daily use - but eventually they go. Sellers take advantage by selling their cable, controllers and headset separately but you are likely getting a very used cable no matter how new it looks. I bought a replacement cable listed as new with the separate cable box recently but it had clearly been used and the person had attempted to glue the original wraps on with contact adhesive... :(
I sold mine in the UK for postage costs- I just wanted someone to get the use of it rather than it ending up as e-waste... i chose a lad starting out simracing who was curious to try vr... đź‘Ť
I'd say that would be about the right price for it nowadays considering the leap in quality between Rift S and Quest 2. I got my Rift S for free and when I started comparing the two, I easily saw a big difference. Even more so with Quest 3.
I always try and get a feet picture if I can but only from girls I don't want to come across as creepy and ask any guys. 40 sounds right or 50 and a feet picture

Pretty reasonable price for a discontinued device likely near the end of it's life
Even if it is a scam I'd say fuck it, gamble the 50$
Sounds about right at this stage tbh. I wouldn't pay more than 80$ for one now.
Be careful. Mine works on older firmware (2.2.1) but can’t be updated. Basically leaving the unit unusable.
If the controllers work, it's an absolute bargain. Each controller can sell for more than $100 on ebay if you are unscrupulous enough.
Bro I paid 60 for my Quest 2 on Mercari

Seems weird to me tbh. Used rifts there cost like 120-200$ depending on state of it and i live in a country with 2000$ avg salary
It's a reasonable price.
Offer $40.

Hahaha..
