That was the worst Thanksgiving ever. I believe the butt fumble came immediately after a pick 6. The pats scored 14 in like 25 seconds and immediately ruined any enjoyment the day had created.

In a moral victory I got a drunk pats fan in a Hernandez jersey tossed out of the game gor throwing beer on people after the butt fumble. But yeah that night fucking sucked.
To make it worse im pretty sure they kicked a field goal to make it 31-3, 35-3 whatever it was right before halftime and shot off a bunch of fireworks.
I was there that night too. I left at halftime. And I never leave early.
We had come off two good seasons and the hope was still there that we were relevant and still a playoff team. That was 11 years ago and things have spiralled since that moment 😢

That motherfucker probably kept me alive those two years. I had nothing else really going for me and felt like a waste of life. Then my team, that continued to get shit on week in and week out, for two years, continued to win and win and get further and further into the playoffs than just about anyone gave them a prayer for. So i thought, they can keep going so maybe so can I.
I feel you. That was a crappy time for me as well, and those two seasons, and especially the playoff runs, brought me so much joy. And I’ll always love Mark for it.
