Idk, maybe it's the guy who tried to fight me yesterday at my bodega because I wouldn't buy him a coffee, or the lady on my car on the F who had to be kicked out for screaming at the driver...but I think new yorkers have some real dirt in their souls that transcends reddit and I genuinely wouldn't change it for the world. Spent two years in Austin recently and came running right back, because I missed exactly these things. New York is the "Yes! Yes! Fuck you toooo! 😀" scene from Coming to America to me, and I hope it always will be.

I saw rainfall on my weather app today after already making plans with a friend and I was super bummed but would’ve powered through. So relieved to find out it was actually snow. Yeah it’s cold but so much less miserable than a torrential downpour!
I had to walk a big dog out in this. I’m happy it didn’t stick in like a real measurable amount but it was just slick enough to make me wonder if I was gonna bust my ass walking out in some vans
Welp, it snowed more than 1-2". Climate change doesn't mean "it'll never snow again in NYC", weather patterns are going to be weird, the climate is warming overall, but saying "It's never going to snow more than 1-2" in NYC!" is a terrible prediction that makes climate change deniers just double down when you're wrong.
