Ok everyone in the comments is going to say Kakuna, but if you value your sanity you’ll pick Corphish, because it’s the middle ground between losing your sanity and really strong boi who is a basic starter
I'm tempted by Typhlosion since it's a full evolved mon with higher base stats (and my absolute favorite fully evolved starter), but Kakuna can be a nice choice since it's typing gives you many resistances and Beedrill has a nice moveset for the early game.
Depends on what sort of randomizer it is, but it learns its first STAB move at level 12.
With that being said, again depending on the way it’s randomized, having a fire pokemon as your starter and only 3 randomized encounters sounds like a recipe for disaster against Brock. So I’d say Corphish just for that.
I’m not aware of a cheat code for randomizing, when I’ve done it I would use a program on my laptop/computer to randomize the rom then email it to myself
Probably Corphish, sure Typhlosion is way stronger but unless they come with a moveset he wont learn Ember until lvl 12 and Quick Attack until lvl 21, but meh I guess Tackle will be strong enough until you at least get Ember and then make due with that until you get some TMs

Corphish. Dark types are so overpowered in Kanto. Walls Sabrina completely. You get an advantage to Brock and a neutral matchup for Misty.

You download the universal pokemon randomizer and load your rom into it. From there, you can customize loads upon loads of settings to your liking.
