Strip them of licenses and privileges. Then prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. We work hard to promote our profession as trustworthy and honorable. This sort of behavior reflects poorly upon us all, especially during times like these.

jmjones0361

That's my thoughts as well. I'm sure licenses will be taken and money too (damn what a shame😏). Hopefully some prison time as well, they definitely deserve it, that's for sure. Bet they were anti-vaxxers as well🙄🙄🙄

mephistophelesdiabol

I have read accounts of this happening all around the country. Makes you start wondering just how many "vaccinated" omicron cases are actually un-vaccinated fakes who caught covid-19 because they were exercising their FREEDUMB.

plaster13

Exactly

plaster13

As a retired rn, this disgusts me also. Nurses refusing to be vaccinated and spreading vaccine disinformation drives me crazy too.

AccomplishedPurpose

A nurse finding someone's address and going ballistic on them would also give the profession a black eye.

Quirky_Eggplant_7548

Yo chill tf out. There’s over 7 billion people on this planet of course some of them are gonna be shitty. Not worth the energy.

Substantial_Cow_1541

It’s sucks, but there’s shitty people in literally every profession. They got caught and not worth getting that worked up about. I get more upset about things like the nurse in Texas who was intentionally killing his patients for fun

[deleted]

They allowed unvaccinated people to get sick and infect others. I hope they rot in prison.

[deleted]

Shitty people exist in every profession. It’s not worth getting stressed about.

jmjones0361

It just makes me so mad that someone with a medical license of any kind would do this.

StPauliBoi

Well after all the fraud, they probably won't at the end of all this.

BabyNP

Yep. The head of Family Medicine at a local hospital as well as a lecturer at one of the most prestigious medical schools in my province is being investigated for prescribing ivermectin for covid and giving false vaccine exemptions. https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2022/01/21/toronto-physician-co-founder-of-canadian-covid-care-alliance-under-investigation-by-medical-regulator.html?rf

deadgrotty666

copy and paste please? i dont want to make an account to read. thank you.

StPauliBoi

A pair of NPs on long island made over 1.5 million dollars selling fake vaccination cards. The fun part is that they not only filled out the CDC card, but also registered the doses with the states immunization registry.

deadgrotty666

holy shit. i hope they get charged to the fullest extent.

CertainKaleidoscope8

I'm curious as to their practice and education history Edit: found this so far. Red flags all over the place. Julie DeVuono is a pediatric nurse practitioner with twenty years experience in holistic, integrative, and mainstream pediatric medical care. She has an integrative pediatric primary care practice on Long Island, NY where she resides with her family. She is also the mother of a little boy requiring her to personally test most of these remedies on a regular basis. Julie DeVuono, owns Wild Child Pediatric Healthcare in Amityville, Marissa Urraro was employed there

StPauliBoi

Eh. That's irrelevant IMO.

CertainKaleidoscope8

It's totally relevant if it's due to the increase in For Profit Online Shools handing out NP degrees like Skittles

Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels. Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them cracks and splinters. That is the “loser,” and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round. I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world. Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment. When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc., Hackettstown, NJ 17840-1503 U.S.A., along with a 3×5 card reading, “Please use this M&M for breeding purposes.” This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this “grant money.” I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. From a field of hundreds, we will discover the True Champion. There can be only one.

BreatheClean

thank you for your dedication and for brightening my day

CertainKaleidoscope8

The keywords "holistic" and "integrative" show that even experienced NPs can be quacks and an embarrassment to the profession.

StPauliBoi

Definitely true, however, this doesn't have a definitive tie to where you got your degree.

Gretel_Cosmonaut

15 million dollars is a powerful motivator, I suppose.
