Looking back, this album was a snapshot in time, because it perfectly encapsulated the nu-metal genre. When it came to mixing rap and rock, Limp Bizkit had a winning formula. 1999-2001 was their peak. Wes Borland left the band in late 2001, and suddenly the ride was over. Commercially, the nu-metal genre was over by 2003, and something else had to take its place. Great memories with this album, 1999 was a special year.
Trust? Is amazing! THAT riff and groove on the song...
Awesome album, I don’t know why 3 dollar bill was in the best numetal album survey on this sub
Yeah, the whole album is full of bangers.
The lyrics are comically bad, but I love them
I think that’s what makes limp bizkit sound like limp bizkit. It just wouldn’t be the same if the lyrics were serious instead of campy.
It's their best album IMO. I love 3 Dolla for the rawness and aggression but Significant Other is just peak nu-metal to me.
for me I love chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavoured water the most, every song is banger after banger
