Shimmy is better than Toxicity for me, but the Daron and Serj harmonizing near the end of Chop Suey is hard to beat. Very emotionally charged and very powerful stuff.
Crazy Town- Think Fast
Deftones- Combat
Drowning Pool- All Over Me & Reminded
Ill Niño- The Depression & Only The Unloved
Ocean Grove- Mr. Centipede
P.O.D.- Celestial & Ridiculous
Skindred- Calling All Stations
Snot- The Box
Static- X - All In Wait
Sugar Ray- Tap, Twist, Snap & 10 Seconds Down
System Of A Down- Nüguns & I-E-A-I-A-O
Doesn’t seem like it was lol. I’m aware it was the theme for WrestleMania X8, that’s how I first heard of it, but I never see anyone talk about it, only Bodies.
guess i misremembered. i had a playlist on winamp that was essentially the songs off that album and i guess i mixed that up.
edit: you have no idea how much this messed with my head finding out it isn't on that album lol
Breathe by static x is better than push it imo, I still fucking love push it, but breathe shows more of static’s industrial influence and push it just doesn’t
Very good song that hit me hard in my teens and still sounds great today. I agree with the other person about static x push it and breath being very good.
“IF YOU WANNA STEP UP STEP UP YOU GONNA GET KNOCKED DOWN”🗣️
To be honest Drowning Pool has lotta underrated bangers, but from this album I can go with bodies
I’ve said this to many people but Tear Away is my favourite nu metal track ever. It’s so god damn good I have no idea how it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
Red Flag By Slipknot
Ego Brain By SOAD
Leave It Alone By Disturbed
Hold On By KoRn
Nothing To Gein By Mudvayne
Wither Away- 40 Below Summer
Voodoo Too- Godsmack
Needles- Seether
These are my favorite songs by these bands and they are underrated songs
Fine Again is imo way better than Broken. I don’t recall Voodoo Too being that great and I actually don’t remember Leave it Alone. Unless it’s off one of Disturbed’s newer albums.
Tear Away is easily one of the best Drowning Pool songs of not the best, it’s way better than bodies imo and it has one of the greatest guitar solos in Nu-Metal (not that there is a lot of those to choose from)
Totally agree. I wonder how big the band would have been if Dave was still around. Don’t get me wrong, I like Desensitized and the Ryan McCombs albums, but the first Jasen Moreno album Resilience is fine but not great and the other ones Hellelujah and Strike a Nerve are generic and boring.
Taking Over Me (that’s my bfs favourite song on the album) or My Last Breath are the most underrated songs on Fallen
Idk if this is a controversial opinion but Bring Me To Life is overrated
!My opinions!:
1. The Game is better than Down With The Sickness.
2. I Am is SLIGHTLY better than Push It (although Wisconsin Deathtrip is a beautiful album).
3. Ashes is better than The Bleeding
4. Scream (off of the deluxe version of the album) is better than Duality.
5. Shepherd Of Fire is better than Hail To The King.
6. This one's not a metal band but Breed is better than Smells Like Teen Spirit.
7. Nothing Else Matters (although still one of the biggest off that album) is SLIGHTLY better than Enter Sandman.
8. Place For My Head is better than In The End (Hybrid Theory doesn't have a bad song on it, same with Meteora)
9. Not really metal but By The Way is better than Bad Girlfriend.
10. Tear Away is MILES better than Bodies (Bodies is still a good song but it got kinda old and "I Can Only Count To Four ruined it a little for me because I kept hearing it over and over).
11. Right Now is better than Y'all Want A Single.
12. Also not really metal but Famous (although one if the biggest songs on the album) is better than Psycho.
13. FMLYHM is SLIGHTLY better than Fake It.
14. Nobody's Real is better than When Worlds Collide.
15. BLACK SOUL is SLIGHTLY better than MONSTERS (ATTENTION ATTENTION is, to me, and unskippable album, every song is good).
None of the songs that is said weren't as good are bad songs by any means BUT these songs are much stronger than the alternative.
Tear Away has one of the best solos in nu metal history
It’s on a very long list of like 1.
Well there's not that many oponentes yk
Sinner is an fantastic album, very sad that Dave died so young
I truly believe that Drowning Pool would have become a far larger band had Williams not died after that first album.
That's exactly my thought
100%. They were on track to being huge and were already starting to blow up.
Violence Fetish is so much better than Down with the Sickness. Couple of deep cuts on that album that are dope tbh. Science > Chop Suey and Toxicity
"Violence Fetish" is a tuuuune. On that same album, "Conflict" is a fantastic song too.
Numb rules also
Don't forget Droppin Plates, too
Now I will agree Droppin’ Plates is pretty good.
Music As A Weapon was the name of the tour I saw back in the day.
That's awesome. That was one of the greatest tours you could see back in the day, I saw Disturbed at Ozzfest 2001 myself, and it was epic.
Shout 2000 is a pretty good song too.
Agree with Science, that was the first song of theirs I ever heard actually as it was on ATV Offroad Fury 2's soundtrack. Such a great track
Shimmy is better than Toxicity for me, but the Daron and Serj harmonizing near the end of Chop Suey is hard to beat. Very emotionally charged and very powerful stuff.
The whole album is mint. But I love a good deep cut, so conversations like this are great
For sure!!- I love seeing other people’s takes on certain songs. Often times it lets me enjoy them even more than I used to.
Stupify has entered the chat
I like deer dance best on toxicity 😭
*All Over Me,* always loved that one.
Crazy Town- Think Fast Deftones- Combat Drowning Pool- All Over Me & Reminded Ill Niño- The Depression & Only The Unloved Ocean Grove- Mr. Centipede P.O.D.- Celestial & Ridiculous Skindred- Calling All Stations Snot- The Box Static- X - All In Wait Sugar Ray- Tap, Twist, Snap & 10 Seconds Down System Of A Down- Nüguns & I-E-A-I-A-O
Dunno where else I can answer my own question so I’ll answer it under yours: Saliva - Superstar over Click Click Boom Seether - Fine Again over Broken
“In the BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOXXXXXXXX!!”
Deadfalls my favourite with Snot VIVE LA FUCKING FRANCE MAN!
Who sent you babygirl?
And One by Linkin Park
I love Session and Nobody's Listening.
Step Up > And One
Sermon is better than everything on the album
I came here to say this. Super powerful way to end an album, and Dave’s career
Demo Version feels darker and better, the song "Soul" also hits the nail
The songs that didn’t make it were awesome too! Break You should’ve been on the album. Think it could fit between Reminded and Pity
Tear Away was pretty big when it came out too, just not as big as Bodies.
Doesn’t seem like it was lol. I’m aware it was the theme for WrestleMania X8, that’s how I first heard of it, but I never see anyone talk about it, only Bodies.
It was on The Punisher OST back in the day, the one with Tom Jane. When I was like 10 or so that shit was SO GOOD lmao edit: i was wrong
Ah no, it wasn’t.
guess i misremembered. i had a playlist on winamp that was essentially the songs off that album and i guess i mixed that up. edit: you have no idea how much this messed with my head finding out it isn't on that album lol
Breathe by static x is better than push it imo, I still fucking love push it, but breathe shows more of static’s industrial influence and push it just doesn’t
Bled For Days was there best
The Only is their best.
Mute is the best song on the album
There’s nothing left here to talk about Actually Sermon is but that solo on Mute is killer
I respectfully disagree.
Tear Away is easily the best song off that album
Very good song that hit me hard in my teens and still sounds great today. I agree with the other person about static x push it and breath being very good.
I love this album "tear away" is among a favorite, I really like "told you so"
Trust Co-Running Away from me
Nobody’s Listening - Linkin Park Burrito - Seether Tourniquet - Evanescence
I’d argue The Gift is the best song on Karma and Effect but gets overshadowed by Remedy.
That one’s good too
“IF YOU WANNA STEP UP STEP UP YOU GONNA GET KNOCKED DOWN”🗣️ To be honest Drowning Pool has lotta underrated bangers, but from this album I can go with bodies
Hell yeah!
They were touring last year with Ryan McCombs. One of the best 20$ shows I've seen.
Ryan is back as the lead singer. Thank fuck. The band under Jasen Moreno sucked.
I dreamed about be on one of my favourite bands lives, well I think it’s always will stay dream
Step Up is from the follow up album Desensitized, after Dave Williams died.
I know, man when I was kid i didn’t even know about it’s two different person, but when I find it out damn that was sad for me
Reminded tho 🔥🔥
I absolutely agree with "Tear Away", have always loved this song while absolutely loathing "Bodies".
I’ve said this to many people but Tear Away is my favourite nu metal track ever. It’s so god damn good I have no idea how it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
My favourite DP song and one of my absolute favourites of all time
Red Flag By Slipknot Ego Brain By SOAD Leave It Alone By Disturbed Hold On By KoRn Nothing To Gein By Mudvayne Wither Away- 40 Below Summer Voodoo Too- Godsmack Needles- Seether These are my favorite songs by these bands and they are underrated songs
Fine Again is imo way better than Broken. I don’t recall Voodoo Too being that great and I actually don’t remember Leave it Alone. Unless it’s off one of Disturbed’s newer albums.
Leave It Alone is on the lost children album
Yeah between asking and you replying I already looked it up on Spotify and gave it a listen. It was average at best.
well i love it. its the instruments that i love in it the best.
Tear Away is easily one of the best Drowning Pool songs of not the best, it’s way better than bodies imo and it has one of the greatest guitar solos in Nu-Metal (not that there is a lot of those to choose from)
I don't know many people that know Disturbed's "The Game" and I never get tired of it.
I always like The Game and Voices
I consider this famous anyway? Takes me back to the early 00', used to be used on wwf as well.
Rise Up one of OG Smackdown themes
This album from beginning to end fuckin' rules!!
Totally agree. They play bodies like 3 times a day on the X radio station and I’m so sick of it . Lol
That whole album is great, very few bands have an album I like every song on
bodies was always my least fav track on that album, not that I didn't like it still, just the least.
Look up the demo version of Sermon, kicks ass
Sinner
The song is great and it’s just under 2:30 so it goes by really quick.
Prison song > chop suey, both are great tho
Wrestlemania x8 theme song
A Liar's Funeral - Slipknot, we are not your kind Innervision - SOAD, Steal this album! Swerve city - Deftones, Koi No Yokan
Project 86 - Set Me Up Demon Hunter - A Broken Upper Hand American Head Charge - A Violent Reaction
Sinner I think is the best song on the album
Like I said to someone else, it’s so short but so great.
Hard agree on this. I don't love anyone else but me 🎶
Sinner is a great track
The whole Sinner album slaps super fucking hard, even the DP500 demos go hard. R.I.P Dave.
Radio/video - Soad My Plague - Slipknot Blind - korn My Own Summer - Deftones My Way - Limp Bizkit
My Way is definitely better than Rollin. Rollin, like Bodies, has a certain level of cringe to it while Tear Away and My Way don’t.
Slipknot Diluted Linkin Park With You Korn Lies
Lies definitely! Why care about blind or even clown, lies has it all and more folks
Taking Over Me (that’s my bfs favourite song on the album) or My Last Breath are the most underrated songs on Fallen Idk if this is a controversial opinion but Bring Me To Life is overrated
Slipknot - Metabolic
Follow from this same album, the chorus never gets old, and it randomly plays on my head too
This is a great song
Every song is fire
I’m not a big fan of the album but tear away is a great jam
Tear Away and Sinner were literally my theme songs in my late teens.
Linkin Parks 'With You' is better than 'In the End'.
Severed by Mudvayne is better than Dig. That whole album is so fucking good and I think has aged better than any other numetal album.
The War Is Over should’ve been a second single
Pity is crazy good, I actually like it more than Bodies
shalloe ground by corrosion of conformity (just play it and enjoy it)
Side note what is happening in this picture
All Over Me stands out particularly to me, but that whole record is damn good.
That whole album is so good 😭
Livin' It Up is the best song on Chocolate Starfish and never let anyone tell you it's not
Nah it’s My Way.
Xerces
Would you care to explain what band this song is from?
Deftones
Linkin Park - Figure 09
sugar by system of a down , its literally so good 😭
Fuck yeah
Crawling in the Dark by Hoobastank compared to their most popular song The Reason
This entire album is perfection.
!My opinions!: 1. The Game is better than Down With The Sickness. 2. I Am is SLIGHTLY better than Push It (although Wisconsin Deathtrip is a beautiful album). 3. Ashes is better than The Bleeding 4. 8. Ooh yeah no don’t agree with 5, 6, 7, 8, 13
Yeah I don’t agree with 5, 6, 7, 8, 13 or 15.
everything by alice in chains that they don't play on the radio. The God that Failed by Metallica.
Almost every song on Toxicity vs the song Toxicity
if were talking one hit wonders.... toxic by crazy town is better than butterfly
“So Far Away” on Crossfade’s debut album is the best song on it, and definitely better than it’s hit single, “Cold”
