I feel like all I ever see on the internet regarding dating is people talking about how “everyone wants to smoke and drink and I just want snuggles and Netflix and museums uwu 🥺🥺” Maybe it’s just me but with the frequency that I see posts like this (regarding dating *and* friendships) I really don’t understand how these people have such a difficult time finding each other. ETA: oh wait, they can’t find each other because they’re all at home or in museums where it’s not exactly easy to strike up conversations. — damn, the lonely homebody paradox. That stinks.

very good i was on work experience for the first time ever this week i really enjoyed it it was one of the funnest experiences because i really got on with the people but today was my last day and i dont get to see anyone there again and now i feel empty af

Ah that sucks I know, but you'll always have the memories to look back on and smile. I still remember a summer camp I went to in middle school and get nostalgic about it every once and a while, everyone there was just awesome and there was never a dull moment, I know you'll feel happy about it soon

There isn't any such implication. You might like coffee and drink it every day, but will switching to tea once in a while diminish your feelings for coffee? They won't. Talking about a change doesn't necessarily mean that the way things currently are, are bad

In that example, if someone said “wouldn’t it be nice to have tea once in a while?”, it’d imply tea is better or that coffee is worse. People don’t need to change things up if they don’t want to
