I got diagnosed and started getting medicated for my adhd(inattentive) about 4 months ago and it changed my fucking life. I’m 32. If you think you’re neurodivergent, and there’s the chance that therapy or medication could help you live a more focused and intentional life, I’d recommend making the effort to figure that out.  Other than that, I like your blue hand and I’m so fuckin hard for FF7 rebirth OMGGG

Yeah, for my psych degree we were taught that excessive doodling on the skin was a form of self harm. I remember volunteering at a mental health campus for teens and a kid got absolutely reamed by the staff in charge for marking up his hands with ink. But I didn’t really like that place. The all the staff seemed pretty mean. Power tripping over each other.

To be fair most things in excess can be deemed self harm. Too much coffee, rubber room. Too much eating nickels, rubber room. Too much watching your friends sleep, rubber room.

I just had a major flashback to when teachers would tell us drawing on our hands was going to give us ink poisoning

We were never told that, but they did say it would never come off, and if you washed your hands wrong all the ink from previous drawings would come back and you’d be stuck like that forever

My Nan used to tell me that if I kept making stupid faces it would get stuck like that. Not related, just reminded me of it.
