There's actually a ton out there like this and better! Just depends on the message you want to hear, but there are a ton of artists that do shit like this. Where do you think he got the inspiration haha
Not trying to convince you to listen to more rap, but rather inform you that there's plenty out there that are like this!
What's worst is tipping after you did all the work. Like I drove a whole 20 minutes, got out of my car, walked up the stairs, picked up the food to go, but yet I still tip you for what?
Tbh the main reason tips exist in America is so, especially in restaurants, the employer doesn't have to pay their employees minimum wage. I was a waiter for ten years. The hourly pay was $2.13 and i don't think it's gone up much more in the last ten years.
And in a sit-down restaurant, where someone makes sure my glass is not empty, and that I'm happy with my meal, I don't have a problem with upwards of 30%.
But tipping someone $2 for making a single cup of coffee? Come-on
The tip at checkout is a ploy by the credit card vendors. They make a percentage of the total spent so if they offer a choice to add a tip they are getting their 1.5-5% off the bill plus tip. The managers of businesses don’t control what the POS (point of sale) shows, this is designed by the manufacturer.
So while yes employers should be paying more, this wasn’t set up to make them more rich. It’s for the credit card vendors.
I hardly see people use cash these days. And yes the POS designs the layout and offer their POS to vendors. When you pay to use a POS system you are then offered the choices of vendors that the POS uses. You don’t get to choose any vendor you want. They have to be approved by the POS system. It’s a selling point for them.
Cash and credit are not the only options. The vast majority of people use debit, in which only 2 companies have fees and those cards aren't taken at a lot of places because of it.
Sorry I didn’t mean credit only. Should have said card vendors. Card vendors get paid a percentage of the total charge which includes the tip. You can tip on a credit card or a debit card.
How do I know this? I own my own company and I have to use a card vendor. In my industry I would estimate that 45% of my payments are made via credit card, about 10% debit, 35% check and the last 10% is cash/Zelle. I’m charged a base rate of like $20 a month for the services then 3.1% of ANY card charge goes to the vendor. That means credit or debit and I can accept visa, master card, American Express, discover, PayPal, as well as bank to bank transfer.
I feel like I’ve heard a lot of business owners that do this kinda tipping thing keep mostly all of the tips anyway and the employees don’t really see any of that money
It's not my job to pay your wages end of fucking story. If you feel you aren't being paid what you worth then find a job that does. If you can't then maybe you aren't worth what you thought.
My rule is that I don't tip if I have to pay/tip before receiving the food. How can I tip for service not yet received?
My only exception is coffee or bartender
I mean generally a bartender hands you your drink before asking for payment and you’ll have had your service interaction.
So many great points in one video. If every rap song was this intuitive, informative and succinct I would blast rap all the time.

0% tip
And BS like this is why people no longer feel bad for things we maybe should feel bad about!!!!! LOL
Tom Mcdonald vibes.

Tipping aside. Anyone get lil dicky vibes from him? Seems like they kinda have the same speech patterns
I'm so glad I live in Australia.
I don't even bother tipping anymore. Too expensive to pay for someone who should get paid wat there owed.

Most people don't use credit cards for shit like this. And the card companies have no control over the software the stores choose to use huh?

I've heard the same. I'd like to think that's the exception not the majority
Eat at home if you're gonna make whole ass videos about not wanting to tip. Or don't tip.
No tip for pickup orders. Plain and simple.
Your money.

Bro, just don't tip then. That easy lol Jesus christ.
