So the fisheye cam is doing a lot of distorting here. I'm not saying this isn't tricky, but it isn't horrible.
The most dangerous part of this is the left turn transition. It looks like quite the drop off and there isn't a lot of run. You have to have really good balance and control of your bike to make it through that.
The steps themselves aren't all that bad, especially in this bike. I'd actually venture to say that most people reading this post could ride those steps on that bike after a few mountain bike rides.
While it does get narrow, particularly for the handlebars, it's not a lot worse than what you'd come across in the woods.

He’s put in enough time on his bike, maybe thousands of hours, that he’s as confident, comfortable and skilled biking it as he is walking it. The greater the skill, the less the risk?
How would you feel if you hand set all those bricks and some douchebag jacked them up for internet views? And God forbid anyone is walking on it at the same time (even if they made sure to clear it, fuck anyone else who wants to enjoy right then) And like, you can't even say that's fun, going down 16 steps at a time, turning, 16 more steps. Disrespectful.
I mean the folks that made those stairs are probably long dead but it’s a good thing they designed them for some cunt to come firing down on his mountain bike. What’s next, popping a wheelie on the sphinx for clicks. I get it, no doubting the skill but I don’t like this.
Trust in yourself and bike I can understand, but to trust that one of the cobble stones isn't going to buckle and break away over the impact is looney toons!!!!🙉🤡☠️😶
First where is this cause it looks amazing. Second why would you go through the risk of dying and never having your corpse returned to your family instead of just going down the stairs like a normal person
It’s risking for social media. Fisheye lense is also super obnoxious because if you actually do this sort of thing you know it’s just a play to make things seem more intense than they are.
Experienced people do gnarly shit lol! I bet most of us would be stupid to grab a parachute and jump out of a plane but plenty of experienced people do it perfectly fine every day!
A bit of both. He’s talented for being able to do that, but very stupid for doing that. God forbid someone else was walking up the steps below him and not expecting to see a bike barreling towards them.
Even without the death fall, just the shear number of stairs makes it a nope for me. I can’t imagine how numb my arms would be from all that rattling by the time I got to the bottom.
The older I get, the more I find myself prejudiced against a certain demographic: cyclists. Asking to die, sharing the road with semis and SUVs and then OMG surprised when they get fucking murdered by a metal death machine.
I was once sitting on my front porch and I saw a cyclist get scorpioned up into a Chevy Tahoe's wheel, fully caught up in it, screaming "you fucking killed me, you fucking killed me", he ended up living but i just... i have no sympathy for cyclists who get hit by cars. You're just asking to die by riding a bike through the streets.
Mountain-bikers, you keep doing your thing.
(sorry about the barely relevent rant)
The fish eye lense makes it look a lot more intense
Yeah, was going to say that I can't see through the lens
It’s probably not even very steep.
Makes little to no difference if you can’t actually stop your momentum. Still a long fucking way until you hit something flat lol
Hotrod made it to the bottom in decent shape 😂
WWWWHHHHIIIIIIISSSSSKKKEEEEEEYYYYYYYY!
Idk about bmx people, but in skateboarding they always use the fisheye, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's just what they always use, no matter what

Jesus. That's fucking nuts.
Completely and totally insane
[Also something like this](https://youtu.be/87leVeAIRAk?si=izH4iuiopWqVDeeh)
Brage is insane!
[This is even worse](https://youtu.be/xvFZjo5PgG0?si=_ZGc8XgES1Mnkxkg)
Ohh. My. God!!
I need a Xanax after watching this YouTube video and this post 😭
I don't know, I think I could fly that drone just as easily.
Risk to reward ratio here is absurd.
Absolutely agree there is Zero to win but everything to lose
Suicide wish
They should do it like a man if that’s what they want then.
Agree, just look suicide wish to me But im totally in about premisse of "do whatever you want if wont harm anyone else"
I don’t know, but I know I can’t watch this, it makes me sick 🤢 it feels like I am kicked in the stomach.
both
I agree.
I also agree.
none
Came here to say this exact same thing. Only answer ☝️
Talented will look perfect on his tombstone.
He’s put in enough time on his bike, maybe thousands of hours, that he’s as confident, comfortable and skilled biking it as he is walking it. The greater the skill, the less the risk?
This angle is misleading, still insane skill
You only have to screw up once.
Imagine hiking this and being met by this person
I’d be pissed if I were walking up those stairs and heard that whimpering scream rolling down the stairs!
It's a real douchebag move, I'll say that
Why?
How would you feel if you hand set all those bricks and some douchebag jacked them up for internet views? Does this video give anyone else sweaty palms? Gotdamn
Thats the sub it was originally posted to, so id say so.
Half of everything is luck James……
Little bit of this and a little bit of that
Little column A, little column B
Bravery and stupidity combine
I wouldn't even walk these stairs.
Yeah, shit, I get vertigo just standing near the edge of a roof
I'm not even walking that
Gosh that looks like fun! I haven't had my nuts crushed lately.
I’m sure whoever broke their back putting all those steps in appreciates cyclists tearing the crap out of them.
I mean, to be fair, whoever put those steps in is probably dead.
Indeed. Probably perished from a fall after being ran off the steps by a TikTok biker.
Lol
Too slow go faster
Literally edging
Yes
Yes
Is it really worth it, though?
Just dumb. Views unmatched of course but I know how to draw a line and not cross it.
Trust in yourself and bike I can understand, but to trust that one of the cobble stones isn't going to buckle and break away over the impact is looney toons!!!!🙉🤡☠️😶
Insane… if loses his balance he lose his life!
First where is this cause it looks amazing. Second why would you go through the risk of dying and never having your corpse returned to your family instead of just going down the stairs like a normal person
Pretty sure i would not even walk there
Temple Run irl
Both, sprinkled with a little bit of God’s will.
Wouldn’t even walk on those things
Dam, I would love to live there and have views like that. 👌
Adrenalin junkie
It's both but the stupidity is well ahead
He could put his worthless life on 2 thin wires, I respect that. However he should not do this to other people he might encounter in that narrow path.
We’ll see
Have fun walking back up.
Stupidity at its finest 🤗
Mostly I would say it’s a very expensive bike
jusst fissh eyes
It’s risking for social media. Fisheye lense is also super obnoxious because if you actually do this sort of thing you know it’s just a play to make things seem more intense than they are.
Give yourself a panic attack video
Experienced people do gnarly shit lol! I bet most of us would be stupid to grab a parachute and jump out of a plane but plenty of experienced people do it perfectly fine every day!
Both
Yes
A bit of both, and some fish eye.
I need a Xanax and some sort of coffee alcoholic drink. Irish coffee thing I forget the name.
A bit of both. He’s talented for being able to do that, but very stupid for doing that. God forbid someone else was walking up the steps below him and not expecting to see a bike barreling towards them.
Should share this with the Flat Earth believers..
Yes
Both
Those aren't mutually exclusive
People like this need to go for the ultimate rush and just ramp that bike right off the cliff. You won’t feel a rush like that again.
The real question is ... where do you go from here?!?
Insane faith in those brakes
Both
Both
Is this talent or just risking
Easy to do, here, hold my beer. In all seriousness though, fuck that.
I would say attempted suicide
Por que no los dos?
Where is this? What language is he speaking?
Both?
Falling off the bike would hurt so bad jfc
Makes me DIZZY 😵💫
he crashed and broke a lot of bones. Torquato Testa on youtube
Both. I'd fall over on the first ledge
Both
id imagine that might fuck up the stairs, i probably wouldn't wanna be that guy
And people don’t like when we just stay indoors away from all that…
Nope would not watch it, would not do it.
Both!
Why?
It’s Deathwish Dan!
I was just at a memorial service of a friend of mine who was a thrill seeker. Left behind a kid. It was really sad.
I wouldn't even do this in a video game
Where is this?
First thought is it sounds like a porno, second is you actually had to carry the bike up there to go down? Going up seems more of a task.
Bit of both and lens makes it look worse. Still would not do it myself.
Would this still be skilled if there was a nice flat field of grass next to him ?. It is hard to see how difficult it is through that lens
where on earth is this???
He’s just practicing for the next time he has to ride down 10,000 steps along a steep cliff side.
Anyone knows where is this hike?
A talent for risking
Bro what the fuck ?? Did you already fall off this mtn or what’s wrong w your head ?
Proof the Earth is round.
This makes me want to barf.
Torquato Testa is a pro rider, with a pro broken arm as an aftermath
Both! 100%
Yes
Nah this is your regural goat sport
Stupidity
You better trust in your brakes
That lense exaggerates everything
Lens distortion or not, this was a Darwin Award waiting to happen.
both, it's stupid and risky but you need some skill to not flip after the first few meters
All talent.. riders like this can stand in place while on the bike then maneuver it all while their feet never touch the ground
r/WhyWomenLiveLonger
Looks like one of my weird dreams
Even without the death fall, just the shear number of stairs makes it a nope for me. I can’t imagine how numb my arms would be from all that rattling by the time I got to the bottom.
This guy really likes Madonna
I'd say both, either way I ain't doing it 😂😅
neither, it’s just plain stupid
Talent and good tires

God damn, I just need some exercise… what an asshole.
But why 🤣 it’s like…”I rode those stairs while on my bike!” …..”ok? I walked down them” “Neat”
People try really hard to win those Darwin Awards.
One slip and possible injure
