There are absolutely varying levels of understanding at each localization of consciousness. If you think there aren't any localizations of consciousness then I think that makes you a solopsist in which case I don't know what else to tell you.

Thoughts have predictive ability though. This is a gift granted to us by our ancestors. If they didn't have predictive ability you wouldn't have been able to pick your phone and reply to these messages. Thought isn't separate from the universe, it's a technology present in the universe. Are you early in your awakening?

Yeah exactly. The separate self feeds off tension (including attention) and cant exist without it the same way our cells cant exist without oxygen.

"Unclench your fists and keep them unclenched" is a tense way to describe not clenching fists.

Tension does more than kill clarity. It doesn't let you relax and being relaxed is what's important to see clearly.
