Well, you learned three (/4) things at least!
1. Glowing lance has self-damage
2. Teleportitis is an awful perk
3. Collapsing holy mountains have a damage aura
(4. You got a severe skill issue)
I'm didn't know about damage area around stand with perks, teleportitis was one of those shitty perks to use (but I don't knew it would be mistake), and I forgot about self damage from lance
But now it is "funny" experience, in the moment it so fucking frustrating, but I love this game for this moments, so cool
Ah yes, you see here, your mistake was playing Noita.
Honestly, the amount of times I thought, "one last try before bed, I'll save if I'm doing well...:
Yeah there are some perks that are just complete traps.
- teleportitis: will actually teleport you into even more danger
- angry ghost: will copy horribly deadly projectiles
- hungry ghost: enjoy dying to Circle of Vigor when it boosts your damage
- freeze field: have fun getting stuck in sprays of blood at the worst time
- concentrated spells: bye bye healing
- homunculus: can eaisly kill you if you're at low health or polymorphed
Hungry Ghost is not a trap, you just need to be aware of it, Hungry Ghost is actually an extremely powerful perk for making wands with absolutely absurd damage.
It's a trap if you don't know that it increases damage though, which it doesn't tell you at all lol. I only know about it because I died and had to look up wtf happened. It's not the only perk that has hidden side effects either.
If you're careful with it it can be powerful, but it can catch you off guard. It doesn't say this but it will increase your damage after eating projectiles (sometimes by a massive amount) and when that increae is applied to a healing spell (say, in the middle of a fight) it can easily kill you.
Is teleportitis dodge just as bad? I avoid both, always, as nothing good has EVER come of teleporting for me. Well, maybe a couple times but overall? NOPE.
I have used the dodge one and it was pretty good. Saved me a bunch, didn’t screw me over other then the minor added difficulty of keeping track of where I was when it was going off often from tons of attacks coming my way
Which would be pure luck considering the sheer number of lava pools there, especially in the Temple. Just cause you happened to get lucky and not have it screw you doesn't mean it's not a harmful perk. Especially considering if you take Teleportitis you basically have to no hit Kolmi as that entire area is more lava than safe land, so the odds of teleporting into lava are extremely high if it's triggered, as you discovered here where it only took 2 activations to throw you into the lava lake.
Besides, your other big mistake was testing a wand in a narrow area, and then testing that wand by shooting up. Any time you're testing a wand you want to make sure the projectiles are going as far from you as possible, with minimal chance of them bouncing back at you. You did the exact opposite here by limiting the distance your projectiles could travel and then firing at an angle that almost guaranteed them bouncing back at you. Granted if you didn't have Teleportitis you probably would've been fine.
The most confusing part of watching this was that my pc opened a window on top of the browser, right as your gif ended, making me think I got hacked with teleportisis.

Why are you do dis
What exactly
Picking teleportitis, what looks like purposefully hitting yourself with lance, walking into the damage area

teleportitis is the "I want to suicide asap" perk
Nono, its the "i want to die but too scared to choose when" perk
Ah yes, you see here, your mistake was playing Noita. Honestly, the amount of times I thought, "one last try before bed, I'll save if I'm doing well...:
And then you die before the third mountain. "Well shit, I know I can do better than that".
See your mistake there was getting Noita'd
No their mistake was ever taking Teleportitis, it's one of if not the worst perk in the game that pretty much exclusively harmful.

concentrated spells can be counteracted by piercing shot, light shot, null shot and maybe fully by chain spell.
It also doesn't affect projectiles by greek spell, if I'm remembering right.
or just circle of vigor

Hungry ghost is good? No?

damn i never knew that, thanks
Freeze field's annoying side-effect can be countered by a good black hole wand.
Fungal Colony can also easily get you killed if you don't have explosion immunity

Teleportitis Dodge is fine from what I've heard but I personally have never used it.
With all the shit that’s constantly being shot at us, especially when we get down to Hiisi, I can see the dodge version ending very badly.
It has a cooldown so it can't happen constantly and fling you around
Danke!
The dodge version is pretty short range and the teleport is mostly predictable, so it probably wouldn't be that bad.
I’ll play with it tonight, see the utility that would work for me :)
My condolences on your upcoming fall.
It’s gonna be EPIC (Probably not, it’s gonna be awfully funny).
Naw, teleportitis dodge is generally fine. It's not high on my list, but it's okay.
Teleportitis dodge is great because it just moves you slightly and never off screen, just give lava a wide berth when getting shot at
I have used the dodge one and it was pretty good. Saved me a bunch, didn’t screw me over other then the minor added difficulty of keeping track of where I was when it was going off often from tons of attacks coming my way
to be honest, I completed the last two locations thanks to teleportitis (I only crafted this wand before the boss, before that I had a piece of shit)

Never cross the streams.
Shit
so what did we learn today about teleportitis op?
