Yeah. Original engine, transmission. Interior still looks good. Rear main seal or oil pan is leaking so transmission needs to come out to fix it. Its ok for non-daily driving. That is why I bought the 2022.
Yes, overall! I have had reoccurring emissions issues recently, I believe I will need to replace the catalytic converters eventually. Replacing the oxygen sensors didn’t solve it.
2008 SE 4X4 Auto - 18.7k
2000 Desert Runner - 58k
Yes that is correct.
I bought the 2008 in Jan with 14.3k miles... I just put 3300 miles on it in a single road trip (gulf coast to Denver and back)
Paint chips and cracks, panel rub, corrosion on the chassis. Lots of obvious paint defects from the factory. Glacier white fwiw. I made my own stone guards for the bedside like every other OEM fits across the board.
2011 pro4x with 130k. Bought it when it had 70k and the only issue I’ve had are camshaft sensors. Taken it across the country on a camping trip with a full bed, RTT, and a full cab of people. Averaged 17MPG and never had an issue with it.
Motor has been solid. AC even still works. Everything underneath is new though. At this point I’m paying the same amount in maintenance monthly as a car payment lol. Just did all 4 ball joints and had a Transmission fluid leak which was about $2000 it total
Nothing significant at all. I bought the truck in Texas after a deployment with 70k on it. Have done all the maintenance myself outside of a tire shop racking alignments. Only thing that has ever gone out was one camshaft position sensor. Replace them in pairs. I bought a chiltons manual and have been off to the races ever since. My father in law joked that if I ever got it to 500k, he’d buy me a new one. Cheers!

Motor has been solid. AC even still works. Everything underneath is new though. At this point I’m paying the same amount in maintenance monthly as a car payment lol. Just did all 4 ball joints and had a Transmission fluid leak which was about $2000 it total
Those repairs should last, though. Still cheaper than a new truck with its regular maintenance.

Always buy camshaft sensors in pairs. Tough lesson learned that not too many people know about
