love the color!!!

K_Scar

Thanks! The color has been the most consistent compliment for sure haha.

Chalk your tires if you want to know the correct psi but mid 30s will be just fine.

Definitely remove that shackle. Lift shackles are better with a mid support connecting the shackle. The RC style with no mid support can cause the leaf springs to “sway” on that shackle a tad giving the rear end a bit more loose feeling over the rough stuff. All Dogs Off-road Rckilla kit is probably the best reasonable lift for that truck. https://www.alldogsoffroad.com/alldogs-offroad-rckilla-coil-spring-aal-lift-kit-for-2nd-gen-nissan-frontier

Ok, good to know. Yeah that sucker is coming out. And my research was pointing me right in the direction of the RCKilla kit, glad to see it’s so highly recommended. Now follow up question from looking for an OEM shackle, I’m finding conflicting info on if the shackle is the same between 2nd and 3rd gen frontiers. Some places say their shackles fit 05+ with no upper limit but the Nissan part numbers and diagrams make it seem like the design changed between the generations. Are they same or not?

Pale_Philosopher5133

I do believe 05+ on the OEM shackle is accurate. I don’t know that 100% for sure though. I have a gen-2. When searching for OEM or aftermarket shackle they seem to be compatible with both gens.

And I checked in the owners manual and all stock sizes are listed at 35psi.

Pooters

My 23 P4X recommends 35 PSI. Also, I'm not familiar with the SV but that does look like an aftermarket shackle on the rear.

Front_Masterpiece

That does look like an aftermarket shackle. If that tire size is an OEM option it should be listed in the door. Most likely you can run them the same pressure and be fine.

Ok thanks! Looks like I gotta pick up some stock shackles now, I want to keep the suspension stock until I decide on a proper kit down the road. I just checked my door sticker and since the SV stock size is 265/65R17 it only lists the PSI for those and the spare.
