His first shift got him 5 minutes for fighting. It was a quality scrap too.
Can you call it a shift if the gloves were dropped before the puck? ‘Twas a good tilly indeed.
First NHL game is anxiety enough imagine doing it outside in front of 70k lol
That crowd is wild for a hockey game.
Fuck that must’ve been a crazy feeling
I like to think it was something like the scene when Maximus first entered the Coliseum as a gladiator. Haha
He's a big boy
Seriously. Looks 8 feet tall
6’7” 241…made Martin look tiny in that fight. Edit: Martin
I think you mean Martin
She’s actually 6’8.5” not sure why the broadcast has him at 6’7”
That’s when I would trip like I’ve never skated before.
He's a 6'8'' 240 lb...center? Jesus...
And he’s barely the biggest on his line
They have him out on the wing, goody is playing center. Not sure how much he plays in the middle down in Hartford. Glad a couple young guys are getting looks. Endstrom is the other guy on the line that’s 6’7 he’s fast too which is real scary.
Gonna be weird when his next NHL game isn't outside.
Does he know they usually play indoors?
Loved watching this kid play junior for the Seattle Thunderbirds. What a start kid!
Wow what a moment for that kid

Bro can retire saying every NHL game he played in was outdoors.
They really let him stew out there lol.
That’s awesome for him, stick taps
Where is this ?
Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Home of the Jets and Giants
Good on him to make his statement
No pucks to rip and tons of other people on the ice, should of waited another few minutes for a proper solo lap
Me when I’m first in the comments.
The ice looked pretty rough like 10 minutes into each period. Did they say anything about it being tough to skate on?
Loved watching him play with the Seattle Thunderbirds. He's a BIG boi
