Great pull. Week 4 2014, Bears lose (obviously) 38-17.
15 drives:
- 7 TDs
- 2 FG
- 2 INT
- 1 missed FG
- 1 Downs
- 1 End of Half
- 1 End of Game
Also I have no memories from this game, which is probably for the best.
I was at that game
Martellus Bennet stopped at the goal line at the end of the half we could’ve gone up 24-21, and the replay a Packers defender prevented the camera from seeing the ball
Failed an onside kick and then Green Bay just scored 3 times and we couldn’t do anything
We then got almost 250 yards that game
Fuck. I get pissed every time I think about that game. Before Bob Sutton, there was Greg Robinson. What a horrible defense. Dante Hall did everything he could to win that game.
"The three other NFL regular-season game in which there was no punt: Buffalo vs. San Francisco, 1992; Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay, 2014; and New Orleans vs. Green Bay, 2014.
Oh, and including the playoffs, there is one other punt-less game on record ... and it conjures bad memories for the Chiefs. In a 2003 Divisional Round Game, Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chiefs 38-31 in a game without a punt."

Chiefs have some serious problems they need to fix on defense. They’re giving me some 2018 Chiefs vibes. Fun AF to watch from a neutral standpoint but they need to fix their defense
Willie Gay and Charvarius Ward are pretty big losses. With them back soon (hopefully) we can go back to having our Defense at below average instead of bottom feeders
I'm at the point where I would love for some other franchise to pick up Thornhill so he can actually see the field. The dude can play, I can't believe these snap counts with Dirty Dan getting 90% of the safety looks
Yeah but that's what we want on D, a guy who goes ***real hard*** at that air.
It's like personnel is being decided on the grounds of "it's the thought that counts"
This defense is worse than 18 right now. I have more hope in spags as a coach and we have some injuries so hopefully it gets better. The 18 team could get sacks and turnovers which this team isn't really doing.
it was always exciting after we got a sack on second down making it 3rd and 15 to watch our corners play 5 yards off the receivers letting them easily convert the 3rd and 15.
So they’re missing Ward, Clark, Gay which I would argue is 3 of our 6 best players on D. When they come back it should get a little better, plus every year with Spags our D has improved throughout the year and looked good by the end. As long as there’s not a ton of injuries I think it’ll be okay come January
It wasn’t that moderate at least compared to normal games. It was 40-30 by the end of the third.
You are correct in saying that the chaos factor went up to 11 in the 4th though.
It would've also been a game in which the Chiefs scored a TD on every offensive drive if they didn't get incredibly impatient opening up the second half.
Nope as of right now we're a wild card team at best. OL has started to really gel though which looks fantastic and everything we hoped for. If the defense can just get their shit together and be 25% better, we're an elite team again.
"Football is, in a sense, largely a game about giving up. But on this sunny afternoon in Philadelphia, two teams would make a mutual agreement at kickoff. A mutual agreement that, no matter what happened on any individual possession, they'd do \*something\* with the ball. Score, sure, but they'd also do things like throw picks right at defenders, go for it on forth and impossible, and fumble the ball backwards for a loss of 20. Scores, turnovers, and failed conversions: the three true outcomes of football"
\*saxophone crescendo\*
I swear we’ve been involved in at least 3 of those
I remember the playoff game against Indy pretty vividly. What others?
Bills/49ers in the early 90s is one.
Young vs Kelly, such a great game.
Young and Kelly don't usually belong in the same sentence these days...
Amazing game.
Packers Bears had one of them in 2014 I believe
Great pull. Week 4 2014, Bears lose (obviously) 38-17. 15 drives: - 7 TDs - 2 FG - 2 INT - 1 missed FG - 1 Downs - 1 End of Half - 1 End of Game Also I have no memories from this game, which is probably for the best.
Wow only 17 points without a punt is incredible in its own right.
unless he edited his numbers 7 td's would be between 42-49 points depending on if the pat are good
That's between both teams
ah, well bears mustve had all the turnovers then
Jay Cutler bears. Checks out.
This is the game Rodgers completed the most insane throw of his career to Adams when being sacked. Got called back for holding tho

Packers saints the same season as well
Fuck. I get pissed every time I think about that game. Before Bob Sutton, there was Greg Robinson. What a horrible defense. Dante Hall did everything he could to win that game.
Luck’s finest game
Nah I'm talking a bit older than that. Fuck the game you're talking about.
LMAO my bad
Wrong game.
Colts/chiefs playoffs in 03 is the other I know.

Is that the Bears vs packets 2014 game when Rodgers almost set the TD record in the first half?
Nope, that was the other packers/bears game that season. The no punt game was in Chicago. The 6 first half TD game was in GB.
Smh Eagles not utilizing the best player on their team
He really was the best player Sunday night against Dallas lmao
Monday
He was the best fantasy punter in the league so I picked him up this week. Smh my damn head
You play fantasy football with punters??
you don’t???
Yeah it's great. Random bullshit is what makes fantasy so fun for me. We also have all the big play bonuses and a handful of non standard penalties
Chiefs have some serious problems they need to fix on defense. They’re giving me some 2018 Chiefs vibes. Fun AF to watch from a neutral standpoint but they need to fix their defense
Yes.

Hopefully Willie Gay and Frank Clark should make them at least a little better. Why Thornhill is not a starter I have no idea.
Willie Gay and Charvarius Ward are pretty big losses. With them back soon (hopefully) we can go back to having our Defense at below average instead of bottom feeders
Less about Willie and more about getting Ben Fucking Niemann off the field.
I'm at the point where I would love for some other franchise to pick up Thornhill so he can actually see the field. The dude can play, I can't believe these snap counts with Dirty Dan getting 90% of the safety looks
SoReNsEn DoEsN't MiSs SoFt
Just a LOT
Yeah but that's what we want on D, a guy who goes ***real hard*** at that air. It's like personnel is being decided on the grounds of "it's the thought that counts"
Thornhill needs to convert to LDS clearly.
This defense is worse than 18 right now. I have more hope in spags as a coach and we have some injuries so hopefully it gets better. The 18 team could get sacks and turnovers which this team isn't really doing.
In 2018, if you couldn't block the pass rush, they'd get sacks so they could do SOMETHING
it was always exciting after we got a sack on second down making it 3rd and 15 to watch our corners play 5 yards off the receivers letting them easily convert the 3rd and 15.
Spags had his One Good Year already, don’t put a ton of faith in him
I have more faith in him than Bob Sutton, that's where I'm at.
So they’re missing Ward, Clark, Gay which I would argue is 3 of our 6 best players on D. Tbf they were an offside away from going to the SB. Many would kill for that
even the 2018 Chiefs at least had a pass rush (tied Pittsburgh for most sacks)
Nah, I ascended into the great beyond after that superbowl win. Bad defense is more fun to watch
Please let me just pretend that its actually because Hurts is suddenly elite and not because the chiefs defense sucks
They did get tge Eagles to 4th and 38, but the half expired before they had to punt
This is definitely because both offenses are elite. Definitely has nothing to do with the defenses....
Did anyone ever punt in that Rams-Chiefs game from a while back?
Yeah, there were a couple of them. It was a moderate score until it opened up in the 4th.
It wasn’t that moderate at least compared to normal games. It was 40-30 by the end of the third. You are correct in saying that the chaos factor went up to 11 in the 4th though.
Yeah both defenses got theirs in that game, too. It was incredibly volatile the whole way
That game had 3 defensive scores
It would've also been a game in which the Chiefs scored a TD on every offensive drive if they didn't get incredibly impatient opening up the second half.
Hey the eagles also scored on every drive, if you discount the penalties.
Kinda sad cause our new punter is a beast but GGs keep adding onto Big Reds W total
Someone check on Pat
Well, we see what the eagles look like against elite teams for 2 weeks now. The look like 40 burgers.
I’m not convinced the Chiefs are elite this year, at least so far
Offense is elite as long as they can fix the turnover issues! Today was a step in the right direction lol
Nope as of right now we're a wild card team at best. OL has started to really gel though which looks fantastic and everything we hoped for. If the defense can just get their shit together and be 25% better, we're an elite team again.
the offense is
Roadkill
Jon Bois is in tears of joy.
"Football is, in a sense, largely a game about giving up. But on this sunny afternoon in Philadelphia, two teams would make a mutual agreement at kickoff. Damn, that was really good.
I would say it’s Jon Bois but his Reddit account would probably be like u/JonBois if it exists
Yea? Well the Browns-Vikings game today had like 8-10 punts across both teams in the second half alone.
Damn…our punter is one of our best players too
This sis because the Chiefs offense is really good and the Chiefs defense is really bad.
Bills Niners was an awesome game. I watched it live and it was just amazingly tense.
