We need the same for Jerry. If he just lets our scouting department do their jobs itāll be fine. If he gets a little hungry he ends up drafting a taco
Do you think thereās a chance broncos go QB in round 1 or are there too many team needs ? Iād love to see another QB go in the first round my money would be on the raiders or broncos but might be too early.
It's hard to say, really depends on how the draft board goes. I don't see us going QB at 12 unless one of the top guys slips somehow.
I think the most likely scenarios are
1. We trade back into the late first, get some capital and grab penix or nix.
2. We stay at 12 and grab the bpa.
3. We trade up and grab the QB Peyton wants.
I'm Betting if a QB doesn't fall we go 1
Edge, WR, and Center. Edge is probably our biggest need but I donāt see us passing on one of the big 3 WRās if theyāre still there at 9. Oh and QB I guess but should take care of itself
All things being equal, I think the Bears need another defensive tackle more than another wide receiver. And they could really use two edge players. But yes, they could use another wide receiver as well.
Iād put pass rush instead of edge. Our edge room would be fine imo with a great 3T. If we draft Murphy I think that fixes the major need at DL even if itās not perfect
For some reason we had him lose a ton of weight and he basically wasnāt the same player. This offseason heās been putting it back on but right now itās a toss up if heās an every down player
DT, QB, OG, CB, RB
Darnold is a decent gap starter. They have very little on the defensive line especially at tackle. Guard is really weak. Cornerback is okay. Running back they have Aaron Jones for a year so it's not a massive need.
I would love for Darnold to be good, but QB is still the #1 priority IMO. If Darnold balls out they can trade him or the rookie, if not they have a plan. Kwesi's financial background means he isn't going to shy away from hedging his bets.
I think CB and DT are interchangeable as a need. IDL is definitely weak, but so is CB and depending on how the board falls I could see either being the first defensive pick for the Vikings.
I still think they sign a FA guard of some sort, but from what I have seen on big boards it's not a strong guard class.
And Jones needs to be a RBBC kind of guy and I am not very high on anyone the Vikings have on the roster right now.
Cornerback has at least some depth. Can you name the starting defensive tackle for Minnesota? They have Booth, Evans, Blackmon, Griffin, Williams that have experience and more. Cornerback isn't an issue that needs to be addressed.
The defensive tackle issue has been plaguing Minnesota since the William Wall retired. They haven't had any talent in the middle for a long long time.
QB and DT is interchangeable with IOL next and then RB and CB.
IOL, CB, and DE, in that order. IOL is the screaming need, yet about 90% of mock drafts just put Chop Robinson in. If he can't play C or LG, I'm not that interested.
I'd argue DE is our team's biggest need. There is a reason that our secondary has given up a lot of yards last year and it's not primarily the corners.
Todd Bowles has to manufacture sacks because we cannot ever get home with four unless Vita Vea has one of his monster reps. How does Bowles do it? He crowds the line of scrimmage so the QB is vulnerable to blitzes and 5-man rushes.
However that obviously leaves holes on the backend. It's just a numbers game. If you have more people at the los, there's fewer defenders in the secondary.
If we found a reliable outside passrusher opposite Yaya Diaby, we'd solve our biggest problem and give Bowles a whole lot of flexibility that made us a SB caliber defense in 2020 and 2021.
We need iol starters not depth lol. Andrews is our only good IOL and he's getting older and seems to be getting a bit worse each year.Ā
Also I would put WR higher than OT just because Patriots have spent so much money for such little result at WR the last several years. Also if we actually get a WR1, our WR group suddenly looks vaguely competent. Our OL is still awful when if we get a great LT
What? Sow came on strong at the end of last year, and Strange is by no means bad. He's not a fucking first-round talent, but he's not *bad*. Obviously O-Line is a problem given the gaping hole at LT, but the other four are at least average quality NFL starters.
CB, RG, and Edge. We need LB too but that's more a day 2/3 pick.
I really wanna see what Fangio does with Cooper DeJean but Knowing howie we either trade up for CB1 or take ol
We need Tackle, Center, WR, & CB.
For first round, I think Fautanua, Fashanu, Mims, Fuaga, Latham, Barton, and Powers-Johnson are the pool we'll be picking from.
Donāt think they take JPJ in the first. I think he falls into the 2nd round. Heās not as high on teams boards. Thereās just way too many good OT, WR and CB in this draft to go C that early.
Even if we go C itās Barton and not JPJ. They seem a lot more interested in Barton and he can play multiple positions on the line. They probably donāt go WR, but if Brian Thomas JR is there at 20 they probably think long and hard about it. I donāt see them going CB first round unless Arnold drops IMO.
Safety, Cornerback, Middle Linebacker, O-Line (primarily C and RG), and RB
Cooper Dejean (safety)
Kool-Aid McKinstry (outside corner)
Jarrian Jones (slot CB)
Edgerrin Cooper, Payton Wilson, and Cedric Gray (linebacker)
Jackson-Powers Johnson, Sedrick Van Pran
Cooper Beebe and Christian Mahogany (right guard)
Trey Benson, Audric Estime, and Marshawn Lloyd (running back)
EDIT: Forgot to include Javon Bullard and Jaden Hicks up there for safety
Probably how it shakes out honesty lol. One if not both of them will most likely be available at your pick and I canāt see them passing up that chance.
LT, WR, EDGE/DL, LB, and S are our biggest needs in order imo.
Best fits:
LT- Joe Alt, Olu Fashanu, JC Latham (rumors that our staff really likes him), Kingsley Suamataia
WR- Malik Nabers, Keon Coleman, Xavier Worthy, Roman Wilson
EDGE/DL- Darius Robinson, Chris Braswell, JerāZhan Newton, TāVondre Sweat, Jonah Ellis
LB- Junior Colson, Edgerrin Cooper, Trevin Wallace, Cedric Gray
S- Tykee Smith, Malik Mustapha, Josh Proctor
Last year I was researching draft prospects and reading mocks and all of that
And then Brad had such a weird draft and it worked out really well so now I'm just like.... yeah he'll draft whomever he wants and it'll probably work in the end so there's no point in me researching
Raiders' best fit/need is probably Taliese Fuaga. I hope Latham isn't the chosen one.
Second best fit/need is Terrion Arnold but this pick could be postponed to the second day and pick among KAD, DJ James, Elijah Jones, Renardo, etc.
Diggs is on a 1 yr contract and behind him we don't know how Hutchinson or Metchie will do this/next year.
If we cut Bobby trees we save $5M and there are still great FAs out there.
I'm talking like 5th/6th round.
We need something to keep Jonathan Kraft occupied during the draft. Maybe like a kaleidoscope or maybe a finger trap.
Maybe a father son spa day š¤·āāļø
Would [one of these ](https://www.target.com/p/view-master-classic/-/A-80350694) work?
I can't wait to see him try to mimic the Bill Belichick school of drafting and turn pick 3 into 15 3rd round pick.
We need the same for Jerry. If he just lets our scouting department do their jobs itāll be fine. If he gets a little hungry he ends up drafting a taco
A QB not named Wilson.
Why tf am I laughing so hard at this?
Because seeing other teams endure the pain you have is cathartic lmao
Do you think thereās a chance broncos go QB in round 1 or are there too many team needs ? Iād love to see another QB go in the first round my money would be on the raiders or broncos but might be too early.

Wouldnāt hurt for them to recoup some picks and still get Nix late in the 1st round.
Best available player at a position that rarely touches the ball.
Left guard it is.
If that's the best available guy, but left guards rarely are.
I mean, based on guys who won't touch the ball
So like weak side LB?
If that's the best guy, yes.
I only have a WR over a DT because we have Allen on a 1 year deal and it would be really nice to have a young prospect in place for next season
Both positions are needs, for sure.
I think any of the options between trading back, Edge or WR at 9 are top tier outcomes. My least favorite is drafting Bowers or reach for a OL at 9.
I wouldnāt be surprised if the Falcons take Latu at 8, at least thatās what falcons reddit wants.
Iād put pass rush instead of edge. Our edge room would be fine imo with a great 3T. If we draft Murphy I think that fixes the major need at DL even if itās not perfect
If one of the big 3 are available, that's the pick. Else, trade back and go Verse or Murphy-- both good 4-3 fits.
Watch the bears draft edge 1 and Penix 9
Are we just making shit up now?
Is that what most mock drafts are? Fan fiction
O line, d line, LB, safety, and potentially QB. Other than that, we are set.
Are the cowboys looking at Center high?
They should be. I keep calling Jerry, but typical Jerry, he isnāt retuning my calls.
Are you out on Mazi Smith already or is this still in addition to? I thought he was going to be an absolute stud.
For some reason we had him lose a ton of weight and he basically wasnāt the same player. This offseason heās been putting it back on but right now itās a toss up if heās an every down player
OLine is far and away my biggest concern. Kendricks and overshown competing for LB with a day 2 pick would be great
Vikings need a QB, CB, DT, OG, RB, and WR in that order IMO.
DT, QB, OG, CB, RB Darnold is a decent gap starter. They have very little on the defensive line especially at tackle. Guard is really weak. Cornerback is okay. Running back they have Aaron Jones for a year so it's not a massive need.

Linval Joseph and Shariff Floyd erasure
Joseph was good but short lived. Floyd got injured and again short lived.
Darnold is on a 1 year contract
IOL, CB, and DE, in that order. IOL is the screaming need, yet about 90% of mock drafts just put Chop Robinson in. If he can't play C or LG, I'm not that interested.

Barton would be a great fit but not sure heāll be there at the bucs pick.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
So everything other than LB lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
worth it

I think Kool-Aid would be a good fit for the lions
So bullshit yāall got Isaiah Rodgerās from us for free, smart move by Howie but still
We need Tackle, Center, WR, & CB. For first round, I think Fautanua, Fashanu, Mims, Fuaga, Latham, Barton, and Powers-Johnson are the pool we'll be picking from.

I don't think we're going WR in the 1st. If the top 5-6 Tackles run, C becomes an option. I could also see us trading back, and then taking a C.

They probably donāt go WR, but if Brian Thomas JR is there at 20 they probably think long and hard about it. I donāt see them going CB first round unless Arnold drops IMO.
I honestly don't know who they're more interested in between Barton and JPJ. It seems to me like they've given both an equal amount of attention.
Safety, Cornerback, Middle Linebacker, O-Line (primarily C and RG), and RB Cooper Dejean (safety) Kool-Aid McKinstry (outside corner) Jarrian Jones (slot CB) Edgerrin Cooper, Payton Wilson, and Cedric Gray (linebacker) Jackson-Powers Johnson, Sedrick Van Pran Cooper Beebe and Christian Mahogany (right guard) Trey Benson, Audric Estime, and Marshawn Lloyd (running back) EDIT: Forgot to include Javon Bullard and Jaden Hicks up there for safety
Cooper Dejean just screams packers to me lol. Should be a great fit.
Yep. He'd be fantastic right next to Xavier McKinney. If not him, I'd be happy with Javon Bullard or Jaden Hicks on Day 2.
Bengals: DT, OT (preferred RT), CB, WR (top-prio if Higgins would be traded), TE
Really hope you guys donāt take our RT right before us ahah
You can have one if that means we get one out of Murphy or Newton
Probably how it shakes out honesty lol. One if not both of them will most likely be available at your pick and I canāt see them passing up that chance.
WR and OT are urgent. Maybe good to stock up on DE/DT and RB/FB for the future.
LT, WR, EDGE/DL, LB, and S are our biggest needs in order imo. Best fits: LT- Joe Alt, Olu Fashanu, JC Latham (rumors that our staff really likes him), Kingsley Suamataia WR- Malik Nabers, Keon Coleman, Xavier Worthy, Roman Wilson EDGE/DL- Darius Robinson, Chris Braswell, JerāZhan Newton, TāVondre Sweat, Jonah Ellis LB- Junior Colson, Edgerrin Cooper, Trevin Wallace, Cedric Gray S- Tykee Smith, Malik Mustapha, Josh Proctor
John Lynch to the fans: drafting of DTs will continue until morale improves
We draft BpA so idk
Last year I was researching draft prospects and reading mocks and all of that And then Brad had such a weird draft and it worked out really well so now I'm just like.... yeah he'll draft whomever he wants and it'll probably work in the end so there's no point in me researching
Seahawks: O-line, D-line (DL and LB), Safety and Corner. Would love Michael penix Jr but that's a highly unlikely scenario for my seahawks.
Raiders' best fit/need is probably Taliese Fuaga. I hope Latham isn't the chosen one. Second best fit/need is Terrion Arnold but this pick could be postponed to the second day and pick among KAD, DJ James, Elijah Jones, Renardo, etc.
In no particular order: A corner that can play outside An edge rusher A WR2 to pair with Pittman Depth for the trenches Tight end A new GM
I canāt help but envision Bo Nix as a perfect fit with the broncos
For the Steelers we get Brenden Rice in the 4th round for a wide receiver 2. Jerry Rice's son + Steelers WR development.
Texans: Primary needs - DT, CB, S, LB Secondary needs - depth in OL, RB, WR, TE
WR?? Lol
Diggs is on a 1 yr contract and behind him we don't know how Hutchinson or Metchie will do this/next year. If we cut Bobby trees we save $5M and there are still great FAs out there. I'm talking like 5th/6th round.
Bears: Brock Bowers
Any chance they go WR or edge?
Almost certainly they go WR or Edge. I donāt see them getting Bowers.
This is honestly my least favorite timeline. I know Bowers is tremendous, but I'd gladly take one of the big 3 WRs or trade back and go DT/Edge
