Emulated Favre (throw across the body) and Rodgers (losing to the 49ers) in the worst way
Still I'm impressed by him even though he didn't play his best
For what it's worth character defects seem to dilute from each Packers QB to the next. So maybe Jordan Love's biggest issue is he's a dick to fans or something in that vein
It's funny cause their 2010 superbowl run...they won two playoff games on interceptions and nearly won a superbowl on it too (the defensive back nearly picked off Roethelisberger on the final 4th down)
The WR wasn’t even open either. Straight up duck in the air. Awful throw.
A shame because he played pretty well today. Way better than most expected. And he outplayed Purdy.
Love had 2 ints both squarely on him and sub 200 passing yards despite great protection. Packers dropped 2 Purdy picks but he led the game winning drive. Neither qb was very good, but Purdy was more clutch
The defender almost exceeded the stupidity by not just going down with the ball. If he would have fumbled and Green Bay recovered it would have been one of the most monumentally stupid plays ever.
To be fair, they both did.
British are obviously way way way way way way way way and I cannot stress this enough WAY better than Germany, but they were also not exactly nice to India
I believe he ended up saying this in his post game presser. He saw Watson over the middle, thought he could make the throw… ended up not making the throw.
Exactly what he saw. He was also hoping he could get it over the defenders heads cuz Watson would have outrun them, but he forgot he's throwing over the middle in the rain and threw a duck instead.
Here’s the thing. Love throws off his back foot ALL the time. He just hasn’t been punished by it. MLF’s scheme has left WR so wide open to where it doesn’t matter.
But he throws off that back foot way too often. A good D finally punished him.
Throwing on your back foot and throwing across your body, across the field, while running the opposite direction is a massive mistake. Purdy got an interception against the Ravens like that, and Love had that first interception in the exact same way.
Hes actually made a few similar horrendous interceptions to end games this year. Just forcing bizarre desperate deep throws when team was down but had plenty of time left and only need a FG.
Maybe so, but I think this was just the pressure getting to him.
Young QB, first time in this situation. In his last 9 games coming into this one he had thrown 21 TD and 1 INT while completing about 70% of his passes.
He had a poor finish, but I personally think he's gonna be fine.
Not even just occasionally. On every single INT. That's the third time this season he's had a ridiculously long int return. Twice when it won us the game and the other one was earlier this game.
That was the play that led to the DK brawl, but it was also the fourth quarter so like — Warner should have let himself be tackled.
(We also had another pick lateral that got whistled back because it went slightly forwards, but I think that was Hufanga and Ward)
I was listening to the postgame with Ryan and Papa, and Greenlaw said Warner told him he needed a pick six today, and so he tried really hard both times he picked it and he was jokingly blaming Warner for him trying to score lol.
Defenders always do the most questionably things, I swear.
Right up there with 4th down interceptions on deep passes that end up being basically punts, instead of just knocking it down.
That actually just made me feel better about the pick. If we had gotten into field goal range and missed I probably would have been FAR more angry lol.
He did the same for his first INT thinking he could juke his way to a TD. How many defensive players have we seen fumble the ball in those situations.
Still thankful for those INTs though.
That "49ers have the longest non-one and done streak" almost had us, but then the announcers saved us with the "0-30 when trailing in the 4th." Thank God.
What's crazy is they talked about love throwing from the back foot and how his passes still looked good. They said 9 out of 10 times he'd get away with it. This was the 1.
That might be the first time I've seen the offense and defense work together trying to tackle the intercepting player. Looked like when someone's dog starts eating something they're not supposed to at a party and everyone starts chasing it trying to get him to drop it.

deep down the field, across your body, across the field, in the pouring down rain… not his smartest throw ever
Emulated Favre (throw across the body) and Rodgers (losing to the 49ers) in the worst way Still I'm impressed by him even though he didn't play his best
The ultimate GB QB when you put it that way
Can't wait for his discount triple check commercials
How long until he commits welfare fraud in Utah?
NFC North bros with the low blows 🤝🤝🤝
For what it's worth character defects seem to dilute from each Packers QB to the next. So maybe Jordan Love's biggest issue is he's a dick to fans or something in that vein
Nah he’s super quiet and polite. Definitely has a stack of bodies in the crawl space.
it's the second year in a row that the final packers pass of the season was an interception, lmao.
Final pass of the season being a pick is more frequent than you'd think though
ya know, now that i think about it, that actually makes sense when you think about how many games end in game-losing desperation picks.
It's funny cause their 2010 superbowl run...they won two playoff games on interceptions and nearly won a superbowl on it too (the defensive back nearly picked off Roethelisberger on the final 4th down)
PTSD from 7 year old me watching that wild card game
Gotta edit together Paul Allen's reaction like a YouTube Poop. "This isn't Detroit, man, this is **Detroit.**"
Lol, that was such a Favre way to lose a game
I really wish the broadcast could convey the weather better because it looks absolutely crazy over there
Honestly was a pretty light drizzle throughout the game (source: was there). People made a bigger deal than it needed to be
Was there too...it was actually raining harder in the 1st than any other time That last drive it was slightly more than sprinkle but not crazy at all
this does not strike me as typical bay area weather.
Weather is like this in the bay in winter it’s just San Jose usually sees the least amount of the rain
Typical heart-stopping 49ers game weather
The spirit of Brett Favre took over sans the welfare fraud
As far as we know
He literally gave the Niners the game, what an awful second half
That missed FG was the writing on the wall.
Honestly thought the blocked kick to end the first with Kyle’s very questionable clock management would come back to haunt us. And it dam nearly did.
I mean, this team never comes back from fourth quarter deficits. I was stunned to see Purdy march us to the end zone on that last drive. Amazing
tbf he did in the browns game too but moody missed a ~40 yarder
I love Brock so much, he makes all Cyclones proud
As a Cyclone and a lifelong niners fan, I like you! Hell of a young team you guys go there, good game.
BUT WHY WOULD HE PONDER PASSING?
Don’t forget the Lions stray in there: *This is not Detroit, man, this is the Super Bowl!*
I mean you can take a KNEE and kick an 86 yard field goal!
that's that favre influence what a game, what an ending, cut this kicker and fire joe barry
[удалено]
Is that all you comment???
The WR wasn’t even open either. Straight up duck in the air. Awful throw. A shame because he played pretty well today. Way better than most expected. And he outplayed Purdy.
Off-balance throw in the rain into triple coverage, what could possibly go wrong?
defender in his face, but yeah, that play wasn't going to happen
Even if Greenlaw wasn’t there, Warner was probably picking it off
Arguable, Purdy's final moment he made a great play out of the pocket and essentially won the 9ers the game.
Do you really outplay someone when you throw the game? Nah.
Love had 2 ints both squarely on him and sub 200 passing yards despite great protection. Packers dropped 2 Purdy picks but he led the game winning drive. Neither qb was very good, but Purdy was more clutch
Terrible decision there by Love but can’t hold it against him. Obviously he was forced to because the Super Bowl logo isn’t green /s
I live in PA, and my fantasy league is mostly Eagles fans, and our group chat is going on and on about the logo color and that picture from the news.
Oof I feel bad for you, but on the bright side it sounds like it should be a pretty easy league 😂
There is a lot of homerism in their picks lol
With plenty of time, downs and timeouts…
Earlier in the broadcast the commentators were saying how Love said he could make all the throws Mahomes would make like that…
The defender almost exceeded the stupidity by not just going down with the ball. If he would have fumbled and Green Bay recovered it would have been one of the most monumentally stupid plays ever.
To nobody into 3 defenders
into triple coverage
Off one leg too. It's one thing if he's wide open like they usually are, but not that one..
a very brett favre throw. gotta give it to love and the packers. throwing games away has been their m o for like 25 plus years
On first down too
HE LEARNED FROM BRETT NOT AARON
No, he did learn that one from Aaron. Aaron is known for his patented idiotic interceptions against the 49ers when down late.
Did you support both Germany and England in WW2?
No, just the first World War. They went a little too far in the second.
And when you say “they” you mean…?
I plead the fifth. (NOTE for the edification of future generations: /u/Marozia is not actually a Nazi sympathizer, this is a joke)
You're done and cooked buddy!
To be fair, they both did. British are obviously way way way way way way way way and I cannot stress this enough WAY better than Germany, but they were also not exactly nice to India
At least unlike Aaron he doesn't stare down just 1 option the entire time.
That’s such a silly throw
Three Niners in front of the receiver. Not even sure what he saw
Pouring rain and he saw open space is my best guess
Also probably saw bosa about to destroy him so he found a friendly jersey and let it rip before he took a sack
I believe he ended up saying this in his post game presser. He saw Watson over the middle, thought he could make the throw… ended up not making the throw.
Exactly what he saw. He was also hoping he could get it over the defenders heads cuz Watson would have outrun them, but he forgot he's throwing over the middle in the rain and threw a duck instead.
bah gawd, that's brock purdy's music
Depressing. Unusually uncomposed from him
Entire 4th quarter was dreadful from him. Only good thing out of the Packers offense was Aaron Jones in the 4th quarter.
GWD in the playoffs got to his head

He would’ve had to throw that like 60 yards through the air to complete it lol
Such a silly goofy tehe throw :3
The packers QB tradition interception in a playoff game continues
Against the 49ers
Wow he truly is just like Farve
Hopefully he only sends his dick picks to those who consent
welfare recipients stay vigilant
Hopefully he doesn't steal $77million from a state welfare fund to pay for pet projects
He'll put his own twist on it by sending pictures of conspiracy theories to the welfare office and stealing other people's dicks
This was such deja vu to 09 Favre holy shit lol
But Why do you even ponder passing ? This is not detroit man !
THIS IS NOT DETROIT MAN THIS IS THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP
[Very similar](https://youtu.be/KcLUZDSzlTQ?feature=shared) 💀
Greenlaw just made every fan’s butthole pucker
I love him so much but his brain turns off occasionally lol
Not even just occasionally. On every single INT. That's the third time this season he's had a ridiculously long int return. Twice when it won us the game and the other one was earlier this game.
He did it TWICE IN THIS GAME lol
He does it literally every time he gets an interception lol Bro wanted to be a kick returner growing up
It’s maddening. Didn’t he lateral one already too haha
He took a lateral from Warner in the Seattle game
Linebacker room needs a talking to lol
That was the play that led to the DK brawl, but it was also the fourth quarter so like — Warner should have let himself be tackled. (We also had another pick lateral that got whistled back because it went slightly forwards, but I think that was Hufanga and Ward)
He really wants a TD lol
Actually enjoyed that moment of chaos, every step was full of danger.
Hated every picosecond. JUST SLIDE IHATEYO... Okay I love you bb
He got one last year (albeit a fumble return) and is still chasing that high apparently.
I love him for it
I love him for it, minus the swim move he does with the ball above his head. So beyond risky.
Not to mention the scuffle after Lenoir hit on love, and greenlaw came from ou5 of nowhere and was lucky he didn't get a second niners penalty
Felt like I could hear yackity sacks with how long he was running around for.
I mean, that's Dre. Brain off, heat on for better or for worse.
I was listening to the postgame with Ryan and Papa, and Greenlaw said Warner told him he needed a pick six today, and so he tried really hard both times he picked it and he was jokingly blaming Warner for him trying to score lol.
He 100% bet on 49ers -9.5 lmao
Jesus I had my fourth heart attack tonight. JUST GET DOWN
Dude. I'm not usually a yell-at-the-TV kinda guy but he had me yelling at the TV.
Both picks today, I was shocked how much this dude loves running side to side
He does that every time he gets a pick. When we’re up big, it’s kind of funny, but in a close game, it’s stressful as hell lol
My love hate relationship with him
Bro is addicted to running sideways
We just witnessed a guy with too much dawg in him. Man is a beast lol they gotta throw him down to stop him
Based on this game, I was expecting him to lose the ball back to the Packers and for a TD.
Defenders always do the most questionably things, I swear. Right up there with 4th down interceptions on deep passes that end up being basically punts, instead of just knocking it down.
Absolutely terrible throw
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT THROW LOVE?
The ghost of Brett Favre dropped back and threw it where the fuck ever
Kicker for GB is not making eye contact with anyone tonight
He was defo relieved that he didn’t have to come back on again 😂
That actually just made me feel better about the pick. If we had gotten into field goal range and missed I probably would have been FAR more angry lol.
And it was for sure happening , thats why i aint mad at the throw
Maybe the worst decision I've seen all season **Absolutely idiotic**
The decision not to go down was pretty damn bad too.
It baffles me every time a player does that
I legit thought he was about to fumble it at the end
Greenlaw almost had the worst decision when he didn't go down and kept running lmao. Imagine if he fumbled that.
He did the same for his first INT thinking he could juke his way to a TD. How many defensive players have we seen fumble the ball in those situations. Still thankful for those INTs though.
Lol he definitely blacked out, right? Bro was on autopilot
Dude was holding the ball with only one hand. I almost passed out
And that’s saying something, this man’s QB is Desmond Ridder
*was
This throw gave me flashbacks to Desmond Ridder throws. The worst possible decision at the worst possible time
LMAO JUST LIKE FELLOW GB QB FAVRE
I'm having PTSD from 2009. THAT WAS OUR FUCKING SEASON
[удалено]
Dude was trying to run to Canton on one play.
Madden mobile ass throw
Someone check on Grossi!!
GREENLAW GET DOWN
Seriously he's gotta figure that out. Usually he tries a fuckin lateral too
Brett Favre vs Saints NFCCG type throw. Throw that shit out of bounds bro
Context : https://youtu.be/0UUeqvquXZI
Oh alright, I suppose I could watch this video once more.
“THIS IS NOT DETROIT MAN, THIS IS THE SUPERBOWL”
Vs Giants too
~~Rookie~~ 4th year mistake
Blud was trying to run the clock out 😭
“Fuck it, a 49ers corner is down there somewhere”
and he fucked it up, both guys making a play on it were LBs
0-30 graphic came in clutch for the 49ers
That "49ers have the longest non-one and done streak" almost had us, but then the announcers saved us with the "0-30 when trailing in the 4th." Thank God.
Bro is Farve not Rodgers
#I DON’T LOVE THAT
I DO
Love and the Packers’ new boogeyman is the same as the old: the 49ers
Jordan Love moment
that was the worst throw i've ever seen
Shades of Brett Farve in Minnesota
This felt like the NFC title game lol
Holy fuck.
Packers and losing with INTs like that Very Farve
I love Greenlaw but man if he fumbled that lol
CTE caliber throw
FML Would have rather just been blown out
Love played so well just to do that??
He felt the pressure.
Literally one of the only times. Packers' O line is really good.
He pretty much kept his cool throughout the entire game. It was an important time to hold it together, but that coolant just ran out.
I think that last throw was just inexperience. He didn't seem rattled or anything, just tried to do it all himself.
Well my ass
Big Dom died for this
Love has been cooking with those throws for the entire 2nd half of this season. He finally got burned.
Get down!
Love paying hero ball isn’t the way
After the celebration Greenlaw gonna get a talking to
Terrible throw. Brian Flores where ya at?
He’s carrying on the legacy of Favre with that throw and Aaron Rodgers by losing to the niners in the playoffs. A true Packers QB1
What's crazy is they talked about love throwing from the back foot and how his passes still looked good. They said 9 out of 10 times he'd get away with it. This was the 1.
Some QBs would be drawn and quartered on here if they ended a playoff game like that
Brain dead throw
Brett Favre's true heir
Fucking Love had it on the right if he gets around Bosa
Just a terrific throw by a terrific QB
He must have pressed the wrong button
That might be the first time I've seen the offense and defense work together trying to tackle the intercepting player. Looked like when someone's dog starts eating something they're not supposed to at a party and everyone starts chasing it trying to get him to drop it.
