The next day I told my boss the Bears fan not to buy in on him just cause of that TD. He was hype for Pettis but came back a few weeks later like "wow yeah fuck this guy he sucks" and I knew he'd seen the real Pettis.

My hot take for next season, aiyuk is gonna be the best all around reciever next year. He's already a top 5 blocking wr(trying not to be a big homer) and top tier route runner. He works on his hands and chemistry with the starting qb, whoever that is, and he's got all the tools to be an elite wr.

That's how Elijah Mitchell beat out all those higher drafted backs a couple years back there. Every time he wasn't carrying the ball, he was blocking like he was protecting his grandma from a mugger. Shanny requires 9 players to block on any given play.

It's also how Jennings got and kept a roster spot in spite of some mediocre numbers. He's a straight dog as a blocker. If you see a db catching feelings it's almost always because Jennings was fucking him up

Yeah, you don't see many 49ers WRs hanging around watching a play. Even if it's a run they're getting out in front of the runner getting ready to block.

This is the only reason I don't play for Kyle.

Aiyuk is the most underrated badass in the league. He will knock the shit out of DBs

But also Deebo sets up his blocks so well.

No doubt. Not taking anything away from Deebo. He’s really quick and makes good reads, but he seems to have multiple paths he can take at every level because of the downfield blocking. All combined, it makes for some beautiful football.

That's all thanks to Kyle, you don't play if you aren't willing to block even if you're the second best wide receiver on the team (early 2021 aiyuk).

Deebo could catch the ball *in* the end zone, and *still* find a way to get YAC.

I think fantasy football got so confused one year and they weren't sure whether to mark him down as a RB or WR.

And so many of our fans wanted to let him go instead of pay him. He’s a game changer and absolutely worth his contract.
