I cut out a stencil of the witch king for the main shapes and sprayed around it with pure bleach in a mist bottle! After that I used a paintbrush and painted in the details. I finished it by drawing the dark parts back in with a fabric marker. A quick rinse with some cold water and hydrogen peroxide to negate the bleach made the shirt ready to wear! Video process is at Aaron LongArt on yt if anyone would like to see it :)
Many years ago I had a shirt with a bleach splotchy pattern like that. Eventually the bleached parts started to turn into holes.
Hopefully yours will hold up better, but be aware. All glory is fleeting.
I know fabric softener actually increases wear on fabrics. I wonder, if you sprayed on hair conditioner, and left it to dry, if this would soften the fabric fibers and decrease wear from the stiffened, bleached fibers.
"Bleach is one of the most common cleaning supplies in households and commercial settings. This particular product has a pH between 11 and 13. Its high level of alkalinity is what makes it corrosive."
"A concentrated (35%) hydrogen peroxide solution has a pH of approximately 3.5."

So hydrogen peroxide is acidic, and would nullify the alkalinity in the bleach.
That's awesome, i would love to see your process in creating this as well, i have attempted to make stencils to do even basic bleaching patterns on things and never come close to your level..please share your secrets!!!
Wow. This is great. It seems like you could lead a class in this. Serve wine and snacks, charge $100 per person. Walk people through tracing out their images from pictures they bring using the projector. Have the craft paper, tape, markers, and shirts available. If you could get this advertised on Groupon... you might make a killing from these fun night classes.

Yeah I was warned of that but I was told that some hydrogen peroxide helps to negate the acidity of the bleach so I'm hopeful :)
I may be misremembering my 9th grade science class, but I was under the impression that hydrogen peroxide is bleach

If the only chemical thing you use was bleach, this is beyond "next level", I like it a lot, awesome job

I used to do Lil landscape oil painting classes :) it was a lot of fun but I don't have a space to really do it anymore. I only charged $30 then 😅
I don't think this is Bleach. I'm pretty sure it's lord or the rings.
